To say Myungshi didn't feel bitter would be a lie.

Myunghee and him have been trying for months, he had to see his wife's mental health degrade over fertility shots and the disappointment of negative pregnancy tests, meanwhile his brother didn't even intend to have a baby.

Still, he wouldn't show it.

He just sat there at the mini-family reunion with his parents, the man of the hour and Dabin who decided to stick around for the drama.

"And here I thought you were celibate, sneaky sneaky Kwangsun.." Myungshi shook her head, looking at him.

"I thought you were gay." Dabin added. "Like seriously, either gay or on the asexual spectrum."

"Why did you call them in too again ?" Arabella turned to Taehyung with a sigh.

He shrugged, chuckling to himself.

"Because I like the three of them together." He answered, watching them with a smile.

His three oldest who despite their differences, always stuck together.

Sure, he had planned to have a family with Arabella since the moment he fell in love with her, but despite being reckless, he never expected for it to be this large.

That was his legacy.

Myungshi, Kwangsun, Dabin, Hwan, Yejun, Jiah, Hajoon and the baby to come.

"Am I ever going to live it down ?" Kwangsun asked, clearly embarrassed.

"I'm sorry but I'm just thinking about all the times you asked ten years-old Dabin to change the twins' diapers because you were grossed out." Myungshi said.

"I was scared to hurt them !" Kwangsun defended himself.

"And now you'll have your own, which is why we're here." Arabella interrupted them. "The Lily girl, what's her living situation ?"

Kwangsun let out a sigh, turning to his mother.

Something about this situation was embarrassing.

They were being understanding and had no reason to be angry, after all, he was an adult and even though he still lived with his parents, they were more than happy to let any of their children stay as long as they'd like.

Myungshi and Myunghee only moved out because they needed more privacy which was completely understandable, even though Taehyung and Arabella proposed to build a house at the back of the property for them.

"She has a small apartment to herself." He answered, ruffling his hair. "She's a law student too, so she barely has time.. I proposed to take custody."

".. I'm so proud of you."

The words Taehyung spoke sent an arrow straight to Kwangsun's heart in the best of ways.

"You really took away the biggest thing I tried to teach all of you, handling your own shit."

"That's.. Sappy." Dabin spoke, her face scrunching.

Taehyung turned to her, staring deep into her soul.

She didn't back down, staring back at him with the same intensity, her posture remaining impeccable with her legs crossed together.
