"Should I still call you Binnie ?"

Dabin shrugged, taking a sip of the alcoholic drink she held, nose scrunching a bit at the taste.

She didn't really like alcohol in itself, she just liked being drunk.

She was freshly eighteen and after a small cake of family followed by a party with friends a month after, her after party was at Jungkook's house, where she'd sober up before going back home in the morning.

She wasn't completely drunk, just a bit tipsy, but she reeked of alcohol which was the main problem here.

"I don't like when you call me Binnie." She answered, her cheek resting on her palm. "My parents and siblings call me that."

"So what's the issue ?" He asked, leaning against the counter separating them, turning his head to look at her.

"I'll let you know that we're a family of nine, so being called Binnie all day makes the nickname a bit impersonal."

Jungkook nodded with a 'fair enough' expression on his face before grabbing his can of beer.

Dabin looked at him silently, his bangs falling on his forehead, hair freshly cut.

See, she might've grown up, gotten a boyfriend, broke up with him and swore she didn't, but she still had that little crush on Jungkook she had developed the moment she was born.

Unlike other men, he didn't let himself go with age.

He still had the same physique, the same doe eyes with more prominent smile lines around them, the same tattoos and piercings, the same way of actually paying attention to her and giving into her tantrums.

Deep down, she knew she'd never really be over him, regardless of the fact that there was nothing to get over.

"Why are you looking at me like that ?" He asked, noticing her stare.

"I just find it strange that you never had anyone this whole time.. Like for eighteen years, I've never seen you in a relationship."

Jungkook shrugged, chuckling a bit.

"And by the way, I need to know what your skincare is.." She added, narrowing her eyes at his perfect skin.

"Fulfilling sex seven days a week and sunscreen." He answered, laughing.

She scoffed at that, eyebrows furrowing.

"Manwhore alert."

He shrugged again, his eyes widening as he made the gesture.

Dabin pursed her lips, looking away.

He reached a hand towards her and innocently removed some dust from her hair, the gesture making her heart flutter a bit.

Maybe that was what Dabin was condemned to.

Playing boys her age to try to forget how badly she crushed on a man twenty-nine years older than her who she knew she couldn't have.

"I'm forty-seven Binnie." He spoke, voice calm and gentle.

"News flash.." She answered.

"Then stop looking at me like that."

Her eyes widened as she turned her head to him, eyebrows furrowed.
