The bell rang, signaling the end of the school day. I gathered my things and headed out of the classroom. As I walked down the hall, I couldn't help but think about the encounter I'd just had. It was unlike anything I'd ever experienced before. I was used to being the new girl, but I'd never met anyone who had made me feel so welcome. I couldn't help but wonder what would happen next. Would I see him again? Would we become friends? The possibilities were endless, and I couldn't help but feel a little bit excited.
As I was walking through the school compound, I saw a sleek, black limo pull up. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw someone who looked familiar - it was Jeremy! I felt my face flush as he approached me. "Do you need a ride?" he asked. "No, I'm waiting for my mom," I said, trying to sound casual. "Oh, okay. Have a lovely day!" he said, with a smile. And then he was gone. I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed.
I was at home, relaxing after a long day at school, when I heard my phone beep. I looked at the screen and saw that I had a new WhatsApp message from Aisha. I opened the message, curious to see what she had to say.

Aisha: Hey! What's up?
Me: Hi there! Not much. How are you doing?
Aisha: I'm doing well. Just hanging out at home. What about you?
Me: Same here. Just relaxing after a long day. It's nice to chat with you!
Aisha: Aww, thanks! It's nice to chat with you too. How's life been since we last talked?
Me: Well, same old, same old. The usual routine, you know?

As we continued to chat, the conversation flowed easily. We talked about everything from school to music to movies. Aisha always had the best recommendations for new songs and shows to watch. It was like we were never out of things to talk about. Before I knew it, we had been chatting for over an hour. "Time flies when we're chatting!" Aisha exclaimed. "I know, right?" I said, smiling at my phone. "I feel like we could talk for hours."
