Jeremy walked past the hallway, overhearing the excited whispers of the other students. He couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction, knowing that Sophie had been expelled for bullying. He had always found her to be a snobby, entitled girl, and he was glad she was finally getting what she deserved. But then, he remembered Ose, and how she must be feeling after the whole ordeal. He hoped she was okay, and that she knew he was always there for her. How dare sophie touch my ose,
My subconscious piped up: "Hey, she's not yours, remember?" I sighed. I knew my subconscious was right. Ose and I were just friends. But I couldn't help but feel protective of her. She was the first person who had ever really understood me, and I didn't want anyone to hurt her. I shook my head, trying to clear my thoughts. I needed to focus on my classes, not on my feelings for Ose.
As Jeremy was admiring Ose from across the room, his friend Fred suddenly interrupted his thoughts. "Oga, give them fine boy, our prince charming!" Fred shouted in Pidgin English, causing everyone in the class to turn and look at Jeremy. Even Ose couldn't help but chuckle at the situation, though she felt a bit sorry for Jeremy. He was clearly embarrassed by all the attention, but Fred seemed to be enjoying it. He kept laughing and shouting, "Weh-hey, baba!"
Jeremy rolled his eyes at Fred and said, "Guy, na you know say this matter no easy. Make boy fine na he no easy." In other words, he was saying that it wasn't easy being a good-looking guy. Fred just laughed even harder. Meanwhile, Ose was trying to stifle her laughter so as not to embarrass Jeremy any further. But she couldn't help but find the whole situation hilarious.
"Bro, teach me your ways," Fred said. "See as all the girls they shout because of you, both senior and junior." He was clearly impressed by Jeremy's popularity. "bro go meet my mama," Jeremy responded. He was trying to be humble, but he couldn't help but feel a little proud of himself. He knew he was good-looking, but he didn't like to brag about it.

Tina, who was sitting in the back of the class, chimed in. "You see, it's a family thing," she said. "You don't even have to look any further than Senior Jethro and Jason - they were just as handsome when they were here. And don't even get me started on  Jena - she's already a little heartbreaker in nusery school!" The class erupted in laughter, and Ose couldn't help but join in. Even Jeremy cracked a smile.

"Abeg o," Jeremy said to Tina, "My little sister is only four years old. She no dey break anybody heart, abi na your brother own she break?" He added with a playful smirk. Tina shot back, "Guy, don't play with me. When are your brothers, Jethro and Jason, coming to visit us?They haven't been here in ages. Tina asked" Fred snorted, "theif dey your eye. You just wan make dem come so you fit collect money from them."
The whole class erupted in laughter at Fred's comment. Even the teacher, who was usually quite strict, couldn't help but chuckle. The air was filled with the sound of students laughing and joking with each other. Ose couldn't remember the last time she had felt so light-hearted and carefree. It was a welcome break from the stress of school and homework.
