Charlie didn't sleep at all that night. What Adam said about him being a baby hit hard. When Charlie woke up the next morning, Monday, he asked his mom to take him to school. She was first taken aback but then smiled and said sure.

When Charlie got to the school, he was nervous and felt like he could be sick. He walked up the steps and through the main doors and straight to the office. The receptionist told him to wait in the Deans office. He sits down at a chair in front of the deans desk, patiently waiting.

A few minutes go by before both the Dean and Coach Orion come in.

"Good morning Charlie." The Dean greets and sits down in his chair. "What can I do for you?"

"I was wondering if I was still a student here, I want to come back to school and to hockey." Charlie looks over at Orion who is staring at him hard. "If you'll let me."

"Well you've missed quite a bit of school, but if you can catch up in time, you are welcome back, but as for hockey that decision is up to Orion." The Dean states, "you two can discuss it after school. You Mr need to get to class." Charlie smiles and breathes a sigh of relief.

"Thank you Dean." Charlie shakes the deans hand before turning to Orion.

"Come by my office after school and we can talk." Orion says and Charlie nods before leaving the office.

"You wanted to speak with me?" Orion turns to the Dean who nods.

"The board isn't impressed with how your team is doing, and they are calling for the school to revoke their scholarships."

"What?! You know you can't do that, it's not legal!" Orion defends and stares at the Dean who stares back.

"If the board members vote for them to be revoked, then there's not much else I can do about it Ted." The Dean explains and Orion shakes his head.

"Is there going to be a hearing at least?"

"The board members are to be called in on Thursday and vote, you and your team are expected to be there." The Dean informs and Orion nods.

"They aren't going to get away with this so easily." And with that Orion leaves the Deans office and heads to his.

Charlie walks into the classroom, to be met with the eyes of his former teammates. The teacher was nowhere to be found so Charlie took this opportunity to talk to them.

"Look guys, I'm sorry for the way I acted. I was immature and I realize that now. I want to make things right, with you guys and with y/n, when we find her." Averman gets up and hugs Charlie, followed by Fulton and Goldberg. Soon enough the team forgave him and filled him in on everything he missed.

"Charlie I'll help you with assignments for the first bit okay?" Connie reassures and Charlie nods. The teacher walks in and the class goes silent.

There was a knock on Orions door and he assumed it was Charlie.

"Come in!" He shouted but to his surprise, it wasn't Charlie at his door. It was Adam. "Adam? What can I do for you?"

"I want to come back to JV,  I don't belong on Varsity." Adam quickly says and sits down in one of the chairs.

"Adam, Varsity is a privilege and you are very lucky to have it." Orion, taken aback at the sudden request, tries to sway Adam.

"I know I am, but if anything these past few weeks have taught me is that I want to be with my friends, and the Varsity players aren't my friends."

"Adam that's something you'd have to talk about with your coach."
