A few years had passed after the fiasco that led to Mesilva joining the Midoriya family, Izumi had grown in height, but was still a board both on the front, and on the back. It was a busy few years after she had come home, and everything was sorted out properly. Inko divorced Hizashi under "Attempted Murder", and since Hizashi didn't show to the trial, Inko was given full rights to all assets, and Izumi.

Izumi had begun to rework her relationship with Katsuki, wanting to be friends. He lets it happen, unwillingly. He didn't want a girl to be with him in his future hero career's, and after being praised at the kinder garden for his quirk and Izumi being, well, kidnapped or traumatized for most of it, he was quick to establish that he was the stronger one between them, and Izumi arguing, leading to constant fights between them.

Katsuki didn't want Izumi to be a hero, and after seeing her talking to Mesilva in the empty halls one day, spread rumors how her quirk let her speak to demons, and borrow their power. Izumi quickly became a target with her "villainous" quirk, and she was quickly dismissed in any talk with teachers. Simple assumptions that Izumi was lying to get revenge were made, and Izumi suffered the consequences.

Izumi's one highlight of the school day was usually her spar against Katsuki. Izumi had usually handily beat Katsuki in hand-to-hand due to her being just generally stronger from Mesilva's care, and her analytical ability, being able to pull ahead of Katsuki ever so slightly. Katsuki however, wasn't a complete fan of this, and the first time they tried quirk sparring, which meant the dress for Izumi, he burned through most of her dress, tried to burn the rest off to humiliate her, and the dress reacted violently at that, growing over itself to the point Izumi got trapped in a ball, and then endlessly lashed out at Katuki.

Needless to say, once Mesilva calmed down, she opened a gate to Inko, in order to talk about Izumi's relation to Bakugo, and her treatment at school. Inko was quick to act, but from Izumi's own insistence that she was "fine", and Katsuki's relentless denial, the teachers and principle quickly hooked on how nothing happened, going as far as to blame Izumi for all the problems, and how she started them.

Camera footage, of course, had been "accidently" lost or corrupted, meaning no evidence was left. Inko instead, had Izumi not speak with Katsuki anymore, and Mesilva demanded that the dress remained on at all times. This of course drew a few lecherous eyes her direction on her way to and from school from those who didn't know, both her age and illegals, but as soon as the rumors went outside of school, they stopped near immediately.

As the days passed by semi-peacefully, things went along for a few years, until she had reached 10 years of age. Her birthday had been fantastic, having been inside Mesilva's domain, and was full of carrot cake, which Izumi was warming up to, tea, and a few dozen tarts and fruits. Izumi managed to smuggle a few board games through the gate, which meant she passed it to Inko on the other side who added it to the pile, and after going in herself, Mesilva slowed down their time relative to the real world, meaning her birthday there lasted 4 days compared to the 1 outside.

It first began with a few simpler board games, and before long Mesilva had gotten the hang of it. Whether it be Chess, Checkers, Sorry, or other, she quickly became accustomed to the game, and was quick to make her own parodies of the games themselves, seeking to have them to be more fun than they were already.

Scrabble was the first to change, having each word, when completed, flip over or a little joke, and soon after reading the special spaces, Mesilva began to color code the ones words who grew over the spaces. After having a bit of fun with that, Mesilva began to expand the board, and the bonuses at intervals as well, enjoying the game with Izumi and Inko. She also learned much more than she thought she'd learn about the language. Inko eventually won, after Mesilva had gotten the board to be 9 times as large, and couldn't reasonably fit anymore space.
