"I'm gonna miss you so much." he whispers in my ear at the airport.
Ty decided he is going to move to DC in a few months.
My flight leaves in ten minutes or so and we've been here for an hour. They're boarding.
We're waiting until the very last second for me to get on.
I don't care if I get a middle seat.
His arms hold me tightly. I clutch his shirt in my hands.
"i can just quit my job and stay with you." I mumble.
He sighs slowly.
"Sweetheart, you'd have to go back anyways to get your things. You know I want you here, but it's not really realistic. Plus, I don't want to live together until we get married."
I let out a slow smile.
"Me too." I hug him again. "I just don't want to leave your arms. I don't know when I'll see you again."
"July probably. I'll see you in July."
"That's six months away." I whisper.
He sighs slowly.
"We made it seven years, sweetheart." he whispers. He kisses my forehead. "You're going to miss your flight."
"I don't care." I whisper.
"You will when you have to buy another three hundred dollar ticket." he whispers.
"I love you." I whisper.
"I love you too." he kisses my cheek.
I start to back up, pulling him with me.
"Last call for the flight to Washington, D.C!"
"Megan, you need to go." Ty says, starting to walk me towards the gate.
"I-I love you. I'll see you in July." I stutter. I really don't want to go.
To my surprise, he leans down, and hesitantly presses his lips to mine.
"I love you too." he whispers.
"Ma'am, I'm closing the gate." the flight attendant says.
I don't even have time to react to the fact that Ty and I just kissed because he pushes me into the gate and hands the lady my ticket.
"I love you!" he says one last time.
"I love you too!" I look over my shoulder at him and smile. He smiles back, and then I get on the plane.

I park my 2006 Chevrolet Equinox in the street in front of my house and shut it off. Dragging my luggage with me, I go in my house.
I live in a two bedroom one bathroom townhouse with a back patio and a complete brick wall inside on the side. It was build in the 1900's.
There are multiple stores across the street, including the subway.
I gasp when I see Katie sitting in front of the fireplace roasting marshmallows.
She shoves one that's burnt to a crisp into a mouth, hissing as it burns her.
She swallows it and stands up, turning to me.
"Don't start." I say.
She grins.
