MEGAN'S POV

"Are you fucking crazy!" Katie screams at me.

Nana, Papa, Dad, and Mama, and Mom, and Ben, are not happy with me right now.

"You guys just don't understand."

Dad opens up his mouth to say something, but Katie cuts him off.

"There's nothing for us to understand!" she snaps. "Sure, you've had issues since he's came back! So the fuck what! That's life, Megan! Grow up and get over it! Yeah, you think it's because of Ty, but what you don't realize is when you're with him, you're happier than you've been in years. You just threw it all away over one simple lie? And why? Because you got in a fight with your Dad at a party? Because Jett has a crush on you? Because your crazy ex was at your house? Because you got fired and your Mom had a heart attack?"

"Okay, first of all, I broke up Jett and Ty's friendship, and second, this is really what's best."

"No it isn't!" Katie says. She roughly runs her hands across her face. "Ty and Jett's relationship got fucked up because of Jett! Not you! Who gives a fuck if he likes you! He is the one that ruined everything! This isn't what's best! You're in love with him! He treats you better than anyone, and you just threw it all away!"

"Just shut up! Okay! I'm just going through some shit right now and I just need time!"

"Ty could help you through it. I'm so ashamed of you, Megan." she whispers.

And then she turns around and leaves.
