Everything was dark for a few brief moments...or at least that's what it felt like for the young gator. Eventually, he was able to wake up, slowly opening up his eyes and noticing that he had been activated surrounded by quite a few humans he didn't recognize.
"Ugh...my head..." The young gator thought, trying to sit up fully, the humans surrounding him backing away. He scanned the room around him, noticing the environment was very...cold, too cold in fact. He immediately wrapped his arms around himself, shivering badly.
"Cold cold cold!!" He thought, trying to warm himself up. He got up completely on his own two feet, now noticing he was quite short compared to the humans in the room, wondering just what was going on. One of the humans approached him and draped their jacket over his shoulders.
"Just like a fully organic reptilian...noted." The human said, their voice noticeably feminine. "Now Terry, I'm going to need you to follow me and don't wander off, got it?" The human continued, ushering the younger, smaller gator out of the environment and towards a door with a green gator head symbol on it.
Terry, as he now knew his name to be, followed the feminine sounding human through the door, which lead to a hallway that then lead to an elevator. The human got into the elevator as it opened for them, gesturing for Terry to follow them inside. Terry nervously followed, gripping onto the jacket that was draped over his shoulders. He wanted to ask where they were going, but he heard nothing come out of his voice box...
"Oh, I should've mentioned that you won't be able to speak much right now, seeing as we made you partially organic. This means, like any organic being, you'll have to learn how to speak." The human explained as if Terry would completely understand the concept.
"Partially organic...?" Terry thought as the elevator reached its destination, the doors opening and the human getting out of it, Terry swiftly following behind.
"Now I know this may come off as strange, but you're going to be meeting your older brother, Monty, now...if he's in his room and not off at the catwalks in Gator Golf again." The human said with a hint of annoyance in their voice.
Terry seemed to perk up at the idea that he had an older brother. Surely that meant he could explain everything that was happening, right? Terry noticed that the human had opened up another, more metallic door nearby and Terry sped past them and into the room, looking around for the older alligator animatronic. Terry's tail thumped in disappointment at not seeing his older brother inside.
"Why am I not surprised?" The human sighed, pinching the bridge of their nose.
Terry let out a frustrated growling noise and decided to go find Monty on his own, speeding away from the human out of the big green door and out into Rockstar Row.
"Hey wait, Terry-!!" The human shouted after the young gator, trying to chase after him only to realize he was gone.
"Shit, why'd we have to give him that speed boost enhancement?!" The human thought as they brought up a radio, pushing down on the button to speak into it.
"One of our new animatronics has run off and disappeared into the mall on me after we didn't find Monty in his room!" The human spoke in a rushed tone of voice, looking in the direction Terry had run off to.
"Don't worry, Mika, we're keeping an eye on the cameras and following his movements the best we can." A voice responded on the other end, allowing Mika to let out a breath of relief. They hadn't lost one of their new, experimental animatronics, thank goodness...
