*Jack J P.O.V*
"What happened?" Jack says in the car
"My dad slapped me" I shrug, its happened before.
Then jack asks me why and I tell him why. His eyes widen and I shake my head.
"Your staying with me" jack says sternly
"No I'm not" I say back
"Yes you are" he says and pulls into his gated community.
"Jack! I have money! I can afford a motel room!" I somewhat yell
"Will that money last forever jack?"
He yells and turns off his car, I scoff and push the door open. We walk into his house silently and my phone buzzes as I sit down and he goes upstairs, assuming he's going to take a shower.
I pull my phone out slowly and shakily as my heart races. Scared that it's another text from this unknown person..
From 474-474-4747: Hey its Madison. Can we meet please?
My eyebrows knit in confusion and I go up the stairs and go to the bathroom and walk in, since the curtains are black I won't see anything....
"Jack. I'm going to Starbucks for a bit" I say and he replies with a short okay.
I quickly text Madison and tell her to meet me at Starbucks in 5 and she replies with an okay.
When I arrive at the coffee place, I take a seat on the booth in the left corner, scrolling through vine. I see the long brunette hair in through my eyelashes.
"Jack" she says and I nod
"Have you been getting text messages?" She somewhat whispers and my eyes look anywhere but her face
"Yeah, Aaron and Hayes and stuff" I say, pretending to be dumbfounded, but I know she's referring to unknown, cause of her whisper.
"You know what I mean" she says
"How did you know?" I say though grit teeth
"Has jack been acting.... Diffrent?" She asks and I pull another confused face and think for a second. Just the fight we had today.
"No, not really" I reply and shock covers her face, then the little bell above the door rings and me and Madison snap our heads and her eyes go wide, when a creepy man , in his 40's or so looks at her with anger.
"Anyway" she says, packing her phone into her bag
"I hope we could be friends" she smiles and she mouths something
I'll text you.
