SUPERNATURAL FILES #3: 3 AM

CHAPTER 24

Caryl spent a chill day with Jisung. Both of them came to a decision to eat out and just use each other's company to avoid being alone. 

The University declared a free day since the examination period just ended, and the teachers needed to have an extra time to check the papers. This erupted many positive reactions from the students.

Their other friends also took this sweet opportunity to sleep more or just laze in the comforts of their houses. It's only a coincidence that Caryl and Jisung saw each other on the Café near the University. By then, they just came to a non-verbal deal to spend the day together.

"I'm surprised Donghyuck is not with you.", Jisung says then sipped on his drink

The demon do take most of her time. Ever since they acknowledged their destiny, their bodies are like magnets. They immediately meet when they see each other even in times that they don't plan anything.

"Is the whole connection thing been good to you?"

"It's generally okay that I'm surprised that it is.", Caryl honestly said, "Donghyuck is quite nice. Still has a tricky smile, but he's fine."

"Any problems or something that's bothering you?"

"Hmm.. except for the union?"

Jisung only flashed a small smile. He knew that even if Caryl and Donghyuck found out about their connection, there is still the union that's been actively taking a toll to their relationship.

Caryl also told him about Winter and Donghyuck awhile ago. All Jisung can do is to be worried for her. For them. 

He didn't know what will happen if they will tell their family that they're destined, too.

"Do you have a plan?", Jisung suggestively asked

"Honestly, none. Do you have one?"

"Donghyuck will find out soon about Winter's proposal. You didn't told him still."

Caryl looked away. It's not that she can't told him. She just don't want to. 

Caryl didn't want it to happen, much like Donghyuck. She's worried about what the demon can do. He also mentioned that his mother can't possibly sign him up for it. So is it another family member?

Caryl never had a knowledge about his family, but if it was so sure that his mother doesn't know about it, could it be his family is a little broken too?

"Anyway, if you have agreed on a plan and needed help, do remember that we're here to help you. I'm sure Donghyuck's friends will, too. You're not alone in this, Caryl."

Caryl fondly smiled, "Thanks, Ji."

They went to the mall after lunch, strolled around, and bought things that sparked their needs and interests. They just went with the flow of the day and follow where their feet takes them, until the sun sets.

They are sitting on a bench by a sea side, watching how the bright blue skies gradually turned golden. They snapped pictures of the wonder, and also each other's. 

Right now, they were eating ice cream when Caryl's phone vibrated in a call. It was from an unknown number, but she still took the call incase it was something important.
