SUPERNATURAL FILES #3: 3 AM

CHAPTER 29

Donghyuck and Caryl invited their friends for a little hangout in Donghyuck's unit. He also invited his mom, and the hangout suddenly turned to a little celebration for the new successful mates.

They were both welcomed with a warm heart, and Caryl as a human is slowly getting used to the demons' world. It's not dark or anything rather a normal one too, just a little special. 

Gyuri is there too, and since she and Jaemin are the only ones mated (except Caryl and Donghyuck of course) they took their time advising and telling the new mates on what they could expect as days passes by. 

The unit is never crowded by the amount of individuals it houses in. All of them still have a spacious spot to move around, but it looked like the living area is cramped since they are all huddling there.

"You have to buy groceries tomorrow.", Mari reminded Donghyuck when he went to the kitchen, "If you both will stay here for the time-being, you should have lots of stocks."

"We should be in the groceries now if you haven't set a grand celebration."

"Son, you deserve it. And it's not grand. I could've rented a resort if I have lots of time."

Donghyuck only rolled his eyes. Still, he can't deny how thankful he is to have his mom by his side. He's also glad that Caryl is getting closer with her too. Surely, they will both have a mother-daughter relationship after a little more time. 

"Is Caryl comfortable here?"

Donghyuck nodded, "Mhm we decided to store some of her things here incase she'll stay long."

"Is she still gonna go back to her unit?"

"She should, mom. Almost all her things are still there. Besides, we still haven't talked about living together yet."

"Really?", Mari was surprised, "Neither of you brought it up yet?"

"We did slept together last night–", Donghyuck paused when he saw the woman teasingly wiggle her brows, "and I mean sleep as in sleep, not sleep like.. what you are thinking."

"Oh you're still going innocent?"

"Really, mom?"

"Okay okay", Mari laughed and tapped his shoulders, "That's good. You get use to your bond first before doing the nasty."

"Really!"

"Hi dearie!", Mari only ignored her son and turned to Caryl when she saw her walking towards them

"Hi..", Caryl approached, "Is everything okay?"

"All good", Donghyuck answered with a small smile, "Is everything okay there?"

"They're debating whether to have food delivery or someone will cook."

"Oh please, just order. I don't want those rascals ruin my kitchen."

"We can cook pasta. You guys can order chicken or pizza or anything that suits your tummies.", Mari suggested

"Yeah but you're cooking.", Donghyuck pointed at her

Mari only rolled her eyes, "As usual."

"Do we have the ingredients?", Caryl asked

"Oh yes, I bought ingredients for lasagna and carbonara before I came here. Wait where's the bag.."
