On the 9th of July, 2095

(Y/n) and Miyuki were checking the list of people who will be taking part in the Nine Schools Competition and see their names along with Honoka and Shizuku.

"Yay!" Honoka cheered.

"Well, the results are just as expected." Shizuku said.

"Congratulations to you too, (Y/n), Miyuki." Honoka said.

"Thank you!" Miyuki said.

"Congratulations to you as well, Honoka, Shizuku." (Y/n) said as she was looking at the list. 'There's my name right next to Tatsuya's. He'll be proud of me.' (Y/n) thought happily.

"These scores should get all four of us to be picked for the Nine School Competition!" Honoka said.

"Yeah. That's why I crammed like crazy to make it." Shizuku said, "I want to get choosen, no matter what!" She said with eyes full of determination.

"Shizuku, you're on fire. What's going on?" (Y/n) asked.

"Oh! The Nine School Competition always sends Shizuku in beast mode." Honoka said, "Every year, she goes alone to watch...to gather data on all the front runners." She said.

"So this year, you won't be a spectator but a contestant!" Miyuki said.

"Yeah, I hope so." Shizuku said.

Meanwhile

Mayumi was checking the list of contestants for their school with (Y/n) and Miyuki.

"No official announcement yet on our lineup, but this year's class of rookies is so deep that we can really depend on them!" Mayumi said, "Mitsui and Kitayama are sure to be picked up, too." She said, "The National Magic High School Goodwill Tournament of Magic Skills...also known as the Nine School Competition." She said, "Every year, the cream of the crop of Magic High School students gather to compete against each other in this dazzling stage." She said, "I'm expecting great things of you two as valuable assets of the team!" She said, "I'm counting on you two!" She said.

"Okay!" Miyuki said.

"Leave it to us!" (Y/n) said.
