The Next Day, 8th August 2095, Sixth day of Nine School Competition, Third Day of Rookie Event

Tatsuya, Miyuki and (Y/n) are heading to the Ice Pillars Break venue but stop when they came face-to-face with Masaki and George.

"I'm Masaki Ichijou. A First-year at Third High School." Masaki said.

"And I'm Kichijouji Shinkurou, also a first-year at Third High School." George said.

"I'm Tatsuya Shiba, a First-year at First High School." Tatsuya said, "So tell me what do the Crimson Prince and Cardinal George want from me before their match?" He asked.

"Oh, if you know not only me but George too, this should be quick and simple." Masaki said.

"Tatsuya Shiba...I've never heard of the name before." George said, "But I'll always remember it from now on." He said, "You are most likely the most prodigious engineer in the history of Nine School Competition." He said, "We know it's probably rude to do this before the match, we came to see what you looked like." He said.

"I'm humbled to be called a prodigy by the second boy genius who discovered one of the Cardinal Codes at the tender age of thirteen..." Tatsuya said, "But you're right, it's unorthodox." He said, "(Y/n), take Miyuki to go on ahead and get ready." He said.

"Okay, Tatsuya." (Y/n) said, "Let's go Miyu-chan." She said.

"Very well." Miyuki said as they both walk off, Masaki's eyes followed the girls then turned back to Tatsuya then notice Tatsuya staring at him.

"Isn't it almost the time for your match, Prince?" Tatsuya asked.

"We'll be competing in Monolith Code tomorrow." George said, "What about you?" He asked.

"I'm not incharge of that event." Tatsuya said.

"I see...that's unfortunate." George said, "We'd love to compete against your players one day." He said, "Though needless to say, we'd be sure to win." He said.

"Sorry to take up your time." Masaki said walking to Tatsuya's side, "We'll be looking forward to the next time." He said as he and George walked off.

Later

"Day Six of the Nine School Competition!" The announcer said, "Today, the Battle Board and Ice Pillars Break Rookie Events will be held!" He said.

At the Battle Board venue, Honoka is racing against girls from Third High and Sixth High.

"Is it just me..." Erika said, "Or is 5his totally freaky?" She asked pointing to the fact that contestants racing with Honoka are wearing shades, "All the players wearing shades!" She said.

"Well, why wouldn't they?" Mikihiko asked, "To counter Ms. Mitsui's Optical Magic, it's the most affordable sure-fire strategy." He said then Erika laugh, "What's your problem, anyways?" He asked.

"Well, because they're just playing right into Tatsuya's hands, aren't they?" Erika asked, "I can't believe they'd go cheap and use goggles..." She said.

"Do you think she will try to blind them with the spray this time?" Mizuki asked.

"I don't know about that..." Mikihiko said, "I just don't see Tatsuya stooping to a simplistic strategy like that." He said.
