Fourth Day of competition, Women's Speed-Shooting Event venue

Shizuku is on the platform competing against a girl from Second High, the countdown start and the siren went off and Shizuku activated her magic then the targets are launched, Shizuku's targets are red and the Second High girl's targets are white. Shizuku easily hit her target but the Second High girl was having a hard time.

'30 more seconds...' Shizuku thought then shoot more of her target, '5 more seconds...' She thought, '4...3...2...1...' She thought as she shoot her last target getting her a perfect score and the cub break and the buzzer went off as the First High students cheer.

Later

George was helping Shiori with preparing for her match against Shizuku.

"I've analysed the magic Ms. Kitayama used in the quarterfinals." George said, "To make her clay targets easier to hit, she cast Convergence Magic to increase their density relative to space." He said then showed a clip of four targets bumping into each other, "This changed the trajectory of her opponent's clay, resulting in a low score." He said, "As you know, the specialized CAD she is using can store upto nine activation sequence." He said, "Ms. Kitayama was using them seperately, it fooled her opponent as well." He said, "But you'd be able to handle all those nine sequences, wouldn't you?" He asked.

Later

Everyone gather for the Women's Rookie Speed-Shooting Event venue semifinals. Shizuku and Shiori stepped on their platforms, Shizuku's target is white and Shiori's target is red. The countdown starts as the siren went off and the targets are launched. Shizuku destroy four of her targets and Shiori's targets changed their trajectory.

"Her opponent's clay is being thrown off course!" Honoka said, "That's Shizuku's win-at-all-costs strategy!" She said.

"No, that's not what that is." Miyuki said, "That's..." She said as Shiori shot one target and the pieces hit the other targets.

"Even if they are off course, the chain's still unbroken?" Honoka asked, "Dies that means she's reversed Shizuku's magic?" She asked as Shizuku and Shiori scores are neck to neck with each other.

"Not that Shizuku's not amazing as well but Ms. Kanou is racking up points at an even faster clip!" (Y/n) said.

"No way!" Honoka said.

'Shizuku Kitayama...' Shiori thought, 'Your mother's a magician renowned around the world and your father is a man of means.' She thought, 'Your magical talents are being nurtured thanks to such a support system.' She thought, 'It's the complete opposite of my plight.' She thought, 'My family lost it's number and fell into ruin.' She thought, 'My parents fought non-stop.' She thought, 'Back then, I just wanted to abandon everything I had.' She thought then think back to when she meet Airi, 'It was that hand that guided me to light.' She thought, 'The moment I took her hand, I made up my mind that I'd never go back to that place again.' She thought, 'My only goal is to advance towards victory by Airi's side!' She thought.
