The Next Day, 11th August 2095, Ninth Day of Nine School Competition

It was cloudy outside. (Y/n), Miyuki, Honoka and Shizuku went out for a walk.

"In this weather...it'll be easier to see holograms in mid-air during your Mirage Bat Final, (Y/n)." Honoka said, "How lucky is that?" She asked.

"Ms. Kobayakawa's playing too, so I don't think (Y/n)'s nervous at all." Shizuku said.

"That's not true." (Y/n) said, "It's a lot of pressure just knowing I'm filling in the First High's ace, Ms. Watanabe." She said.

"But you're going to be just fine, (Y/n)-chan!" Miyuki said, "After all, you have Onii-sama on your side!" She said causing (Y/n) to giggle.

"Oh, that...well, of course that's true, but..." (Y/n) said.

Then they sit by the water fountain.

"There are only two days left until the Nine School Competition is over." Honoka said.

"Today's Mirage Bat and tomorrow's Monolith Code..." (Y/n) said, "If we win either one, it will seal First High's overall victory." She said.

"You don't have to worry about the school." Shizuku said, "Just focus on your match." She said.

"Thanks, Shizuku but I can't afford to do that." (Y/n) said.

"What?" Shizuku asked.

"We were able to get this far thanks to you, Honoka and Miyu-chan's and all the efforts of the First High team." (Y/n) said, "So, I have to live up to all that in my own match." She said which made the girls smile. 'All grades will be competing in the Mirage Bat Official Event.' She thought, 'Isshiki, I have no intentions of losing, either!' She thought, 'I'm going to go all out to lead First High to victory!' She thought.

Meanwhile, at the Hotel Roof

Airi is talking to someone on the phone.

"Yes. You don't have to tell me." Airi said, "Goodbye." She said then end the call.

"That must be hard." Saho said, "Having all those expectations to fulfill." She said.

"Ms. Mizuo..." Airi said.

"That was from the Isshiki family, right?" Saho asked.

"I can never hide anything from you." Airi said.

"Well, we've known each other for long." Saho said.

"They see Ichijou's loss yesterday as a prime chance to show our clout as another One family." Airi said.

"A power struggle between Clans at a time like this?" Saho asked, "The Nine School Competition is such a breeze that you can win it with that in your mind." She said.

"I feel bad for my mother, who came to Japan with so many dreams." Airi said then touch her bow, "But that's precisely why I want to win." She said, "Both for my mother's sake...and above all, for my sake!" She said.

"I see." Saho said, "Then, just as we promised..." She said.

"The Mirage Bat Official Event will end...with our one-two finish!" Airi said raising her fist then Saho did the same as they fist-bump.
