Kafka POV

It was a nice little trip to the Xianzhou Luofu. Although Kafka kept an extra eye on her companion. Blade would undoubtedly be effected by the mara as old memories would resurface. Thankfully she knew how to control his mind. As he willingly let her anyway.

The man Blade... well once was a man. He is now turned immortal thanks to the power of The Abundance. He had a mission to make three people pay. Who were they?

Well it wouldn't be fun if I told you.

Despite how eager she could see him be, he was relatively calm on their trip. But soon they would descend to the Luofu, and who knows how he will be then? "What's on your mind?" Kafka asked with an upward inflection as she smiled innocently. Almost like she was playing with him.

"Plenty of things. Plenty of questions, that is. And feelings from a long-forgotten time." There was a fire in his eye as he looked to the side with a frown. Slowly his face would form a sinister smile. "Heh, I'm holding myself back but... I'm itching to see their faces once more."

Kafka stayed quiet, noticing his change. Whenever memories would resurface or plague him, his eyes got that crazy look. Because he could feel the mara stirring within him. To remind him of his long-time vengeance. Remind him to make those pay and repent for their sins. Blade was a complex man.

But Kafka also knew she was his closest companion thus far. And it wasn't all too personal. But her Spirit Whisper controlled his mind when he couldn't. It's why he's so accepting of her control over him. She was the reason he hasn't turned mara-struck. Blade did not mind being Destiny's Slave's tool. All to wash his sins away as he sees fit. Kafka smirked with a small scoff.

"Things will only get more interesting as we continue, how many people did you plan to see again?" Kafka asked as if she didn't already know.

"As you know, out of five... three must pay the price." He said with a heinous smirk.

"And what about number six?" Kafka asked with a knowing smirk in return. She'd notice Blade stiffen. A frown on his face as if she triggered something inside him. "Calm down, Bladie. Elio has told me a few things he's seen... and I promise you it won't disappoint." She held a knowing smile.

Blade seemed to relax as she said those words. "I do vaguely recall a sixth person since you said that. Does this mean I will see them too?" He asked Kafka. He knew that she couldn't reveal everything to him, like who the person was.

A bigger smile formed on her face in amusement. "Well, you'll just have to wait and see."

He grumbled and crossed his arms as he looked out the window. His raven hair covering the left side of his face as he looked to the ship of the Xianzhou Luafu in the distance. He was deep in thought.

What about, I wonder?

______________

Blade POV

He could never forget the sixth person. Y/N... no he could never forget. Memories may be fuzzy but her face was as clear as day in his mind. There was a determination in his gaze.
