Y/n's P.O.V

Chris finally convinced my manager to take some time off from my busy schedule. He really wanted to do a little family vacation away with our twin boys.

I booked a room in hotel by a pool and playground for about four days. I know it's small but I didn't wanna have a staycation.

So I thought it was better than nothing. I haven't been on a vacation since I was about 11, and that one turned out to be shitty.

It's the night before we have to leave and I'm currently packing up my boy's suitcases. I fold up Colby's swimsuit when I hear the door behind me open. I look over my shoulder and see Chris entering the room.

"Hey." He says quietly, shutting the door softly.

"Hey." I said zipping up the suitcase.

"You're still packing?" Chris says sitting down next to me on the floor.

"I just... wanted to make sure everyone has everything that they need." I sigh.

"Y/n. You've packed and repacked and then repacked the boys's suitcases. If they need anything we can always run out to the store and grab it." Chris tells me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders.

"I just wanna make sure they have everything they need." I tell him.

I sigh knowing that our little boys won't even remember this trip. They'll only get to see the pictures and us telling them what we did.

"I just wish they were a little bit older so that they'll remember it well." I said.

"Don't say that." He says. "You say that now but when they turn 18 you'll be crying, wishing they were little babies again."

"That's true." I said.

I lower my head in exhaustion, resting it on my hand. Chris leans towards me and kisses my temple. He then rest his head on the side on my shoulder.

"I love and appreciate you." Chris tells me, softly.

"I love and appreciate you too." I tell him.

"Come on." Chris says gently pulling me up from the floor. "I know you have everything we'll need. You need to get some rest."

I groan as he leads me to the bed. I lay down and rest my head on my pillow while Chris throws the blanket over me. He leans down and kisses my forehead before crawling into bed himself.

~ The Morning

I woke up around 5am. I'm currently putting my suitcase in the trunk when I hear the front door open. I look back and see a bedheaded Chris walking out of the house while rubbing his eyes.
