"Nick, can you shut the fuck up for once!" Chris yells as he storms up the stairs.

"Chris, I'm not the one who fucking did the stupid shit that got us kicked out and banned at the movie theater!" Nick yells back, following Chris with me and Matt following right behind.

We make it up the stairs and enter the kitchen where Chris slams the fridge door after getting himself a drink out.

"Don't abuse the fridge just because you're an idiot!" Nick says walking over to the kitchen table.

"Fucking blah blah blah blah! All you do is running that fucking mouth of yours!" Chris says cracking open his can of pop and taking a sip.

"Chris, I'm genuinely curious on how you thought that situation would have ended any differently than it did." Matt said standing next to me.

Chris stays quiet taking another sip of his drink. I can tell Chris is irritated but not just over his brothers bitching at him. It's seems like there's something else going on.

"Whatever." Chris says before drinking the rest of his pop and throwing the can away. "You can shut the fuck up too."

Chris points his finger at me, leaving me confused.

"I didn't even say anything Chris." I said softly.

"God!! Just shut up!" Chris yells at me.

"Who the FUCK are you raising your voice to?!" I said now raising my voice and stepping up to Chris. "Cause I know it ain't me."

Chris steps back as this is the first time I've ever 'squared up' to him. Chris rolls his eyes before heading downstairs to his room. I just shake my head back and forth.

"I don't know what his deal has been but he better come up in a better mood." Nick says as he storms up to his room.

Matt just shrugs his shoulders and heads off to his room too. I would normally go down to Chris's room and hang with him but I wanna give him his space and give him the time for him to calm down.

I walk over and sit down on the couch, opening my phone and going on social media.

Half an hour passes and I didn't see anything unusual on social media that could possibly explain Chris's recent behavior. Maybe it's something else, that doesn't involve social media. Who knows. I'll try a talk to him once he's ready to come up.

I start to doze off and before I knew it I had fallen asleep on the couch. Some time would pass before I would feel light shaking, waking me up from my slumber.

I flutter my eyes open, trying to get them to adjust to the silhouette standing in front of me

"Chris?" I said as I rub my eyes and sit up.

"Hey." He tells softly.

"Hey." I respond still rubbing my eyes.

Once I get finish, Chris places his hand on my leg, rubbing up and down as he stares at the floor.

"I'm sorry if I was being an asshole earlier." He finally speaks breaking the silence.

"You were." I said, looking at him. "You wanna tell me why?"

"Here's the thing, I don't know." Chris says.

"Was just Nick's and Matt's bitching getting to you?" I asked him.

"No. That's just daily routine." Chris says.

"Fair." I said, nodding my head.

"But no. I honestly don't know why I was so irritable and pissy earlier." Chris tells me before leaning on my shoulder.

"Is there something you wanna talk about with me?" I asked playing with his hair.

Chris just shakes his head.

"Is there something you wanna talk about with Nick and Matt?" I asked, knowing if he didn't feel comfortable telling me, he might feel more comfortable telling his brothers.

However Chris shakes his head again.

"I'm always here if you need me." I tell him. "They're always here for you too."

"I know but if I don't even know what's wrong, I don't know how to explain it to you guys." Chris says as he fiddles with his fingers.

"Sometimes we don't know what's going on but we shouldn't take it out on others." I tell him.

"I was out of line and I know I was even when I was in the moment." Chris tells me, staying silent after.

"You were." I tell him, watching his body language.

"And I am so sorry I yelled at you." He tells me looking over at me.

"You almost got your ass beat." I tell him.

"Yeah I picked up on that." He says. "You're pretty scary when you're serious."

"Thank you." I said smiling, getting him to giggle.

I lean forward and kiss his cheek before standing up from the couch.

"Come on." I said, nudging my head.

"Where are we going?" He asked as he stands up from the couch as well.

"You have a few more people you need to apologize to." I tell him.

Chris goes and apologizes to Nick and Matt individually. After apologizing to them he tells them what he told me about not knowing why he was so irritated. After his apologies were said and done, we go down to his room.

I flop on his bed and wrap myself up like a burrito with his blanket.

"Goofy." I hear him say as the bed dripped down.

I pop my head out and look at him with a smile.

"Did I really scare you?" I asked, not being certain if he was being truthful earlier.

"I almost pissed myself." He tells me.

"Shows you, not to yell at me." I said.
