Chapter 3: Talking to Jake and Learning His Past

3rd Person POV:

It had been 3 weeks since the Sully's had arrived and the Metkayina clan and so far things were going well. Especially with Jake and Lana. Their friendship surprised many in the clan as Lana was never open with anyone unless it was her family or the children of the clan. Now you would never see one without the other unless they were with their family. Right now they were together, sitting on a small rock, their feet in the water, the soft waves washing against their toes.

"May I ask you something Jake?" Lana asked, looking at Jake.

"Sure. What is it?" Lana hesitated but took a deep breath and spoke

"Could... Could you tell me your past? Not how you got to be here but how you became a Navi"

"Oh.."

"You don't have to tell me if you don-"

"No, No, I want to tell you." Jake sighed as he began to tell his past

"My brother was actually the one who came to Pandora with the other sky people but one day he died...leaving me to take his place. I thought it would be impossible because I was in a wheelchair. They put us in these machines next to our navi/avatar forms and put us inside them. I swear I almost passed out from shock when I stood. After years of not being able to stand I finally was. It felt like a miracle...Anyway, I was walking through the forest with other sky people when I ended up seperated from them by creatures. I was about to die but Neytiri saved me because of a sign from Eywa. Long story short, they invited me to their home to learn their ways, I learned from Neytiri who was arranged to be mated to another but we ended up mating, the sky people started a war, I admitted that I was sent to spy, they tied me up, Neytiri's mom freed me and asked me to help, I tamed and rode Toruk Makto to save the clan and win the trust of Neytiri who was mad that I lied, we won the war, Neytiri had our kids, dying when tuk was born, and another fight with the sky people occurred" He hesitated telling her this next part, not wanting her to find out he was only here to hide from Quatritch. "It ended and eventually we wanted peace and safety so we came here to get away from the battle."
