Chapter 13: Staying Behind and Saving Neteyem

Lana's POV:

It's been half a day and still no return of Jake or the children. I now started to worry. I have this horrible feeling that something has happened to someone. I heard someone and stood to see my sister Tyseria walking in with a bleeding Neteyem. My eyes widened with tears as I grabbed him from her arms, holding him and laying him down on the matt, getting supplies to heal him.

"What happened?!" I said as I started to remove the bullet

"He was shot and everyone was fighting so I brought him to you since you're the next best person."

Tyseria said crying.

"Tyseria go get supplies and get the healers. You guys go to the shore and prepare for our people to come back. I can feel they won but some are injured."

I said as I extracted the bullet. Tyseria nodded and left. I sat in front of Neteyem adding herbs to his wound. I spoke the words of Eywa, asking her to heal him and save one of my Geist Sohns (Spirit Son's). Soon his bleeding stopped and his breathing was normal. I breathed heavily as I waited for my son to wake.

I did not have to wait long as 15 minutes later Neteyem groaned, opening his eyes. I laid his head down when he tried to lift it, laying some cool water on it.

(Time Skip)

Me and Neteyem were sitting together waiting for Jake and the rest of the kid's to come back. Neteyem laid, tucked into my side quietly but soon spoke.

"Thank you for saving me. You have truly become the mother figure I never knew I needed" I smiled at Neteyem, kissing his forehead

"I love you Neteyem, and I am proud to call you my Geist Sohn" I told him as he looked at me.

"May...May me and my siblings call you mom?" He asked looking hopeful but nervous

Tears welled in my eyes at the question. I hugged him, careful of the wound and spoke.

"Of course! I love you my son." I told him as we hugged again

We broke apart to see the rest of the Sully's walking in. They rushed towards Neteyem, hugging him and me, thanking me for healing him.

"It was nothing. I would do it for any of you. You are my children" I told them as they realized what Neteyem asked me.

They looked at me hopefully, asking me with their eyes if I said yes to which I nodded. They all hugged me, being careful of Neteyem's wound, and cried.

"We love you mom" The kid's said in sync

"I love you kids" I told them as I looked at my mate keeping my arms open.

Jake joined and rearranged us so we could sleep after today's stressing event. Soon we all fell asleep in eachothers embraces, everyone with a contented smile that they were with their family.
