Lana's POV:
It's been a week since Jake and I got together. I was really happy with him. I was walking along the shore while Jake was hunting with my father, when I saw the Sully kids. They were surrounding Lo'ak who had a cut on his knee. I quickly ran back to my mauri getting some healing paste before heading back to where they were.
"Hello kids." I spoke as they looked at me
"Hey Lana!" Tuk spoke smiling at me
I smiled, hugging her before bending down to where Lo'ak was, opening the paste and rubbing it on his knee.
"O-oh you don't need to do that I-I'm fin-"
"Shush. You are hurt and need healing paste." I told him as he went quiet
The Sully kids sat quietly and stared at me as I fixed the cut on Lo'ak. I soon finished standing, helping him to his feet.
"What are you guys up to?" I asked looking around at them
"We were going to look for shells to make bracelets" Kiri spoke, looking at me
"Well if you guys want I could take you to a special part of the water where the most unique shell's are."
They quickly agreed as we got on our ilu's, tuk riding with me. As we rode I looked to the children to see them smiling. Something I hadn't seen often since they arrived. Soon we reached the spot.
"This is it," I said as they looked down, seeing all the colorful shell's.
"This is so cool!" Tuk said as she dived underwater, the other doing the same.
We were picking shell's when I noticed Kiri had wandered off.
"I'll be right back kids, kiri wandered off, I'm going to get her." I said as they nodded and went back underwater
I swam to where kiri was sitting on a rock, the sea creatures surrounding her as she glowed.
"That's beautiful" I spoke as she looked at me before looking down
"Yeah I guess" She said looking sad
"What is wrong Kiri?"
"I just... Back in the forest I would connect easily with the animals as I do here. I also attracted them as even the harshest of creatures would be friendly with me. And it's amazing but I feel so weird. Like maybe the people are right. Maybe I am a freak"
"Kiri...you are NOT a freak. Eywa has gifted you with something amazing. You are a unique and beautiful girl Kiri. Never let anyone tell you otherwise." I told her looking at her softly
"I can hear her you know...Eywa...I know it sounds crazy but I feel and hear her heartbeat."
"What does it sound like?" I asked her. She looked at me with awe and happiness
"Mighty"
"Kiri...this is amazing. You are connected to Eywa and her spirit. You are special." I started to say
" I see you Kiri ".
A tear fell down Kiri's cheek, I wiped it. Kiri then tackled me in a hug. I hugged her back. The rest of the Sully kids walked to us and saw us hugging. I motioned for them to come with my arm out. They walked towards us, joining the hug. I kissed each of their foreheads before speaking
"I see you all. And I am so proud of all your hard work you have accomplished in this clan."
I told them as they all looked at me with a loving kid-parental look before hugging me tighter.
