Lana's POV:
It has been a few weeks since the events with Lo'ak bonding with Palkyan and as of recently I have been feeling sick. I decided to go to my mother, knowing she would be able to tell me what was wrong better than the other healers. I walked into my parents Mauri greeting my mother.
"I see you mother" I greeted her
"I see you daughter, is something wrong?" My mother asked with concern on her face.
"Well recently I have been feeling sick and I do not know why." I explained placing my hand on my stomach.
My mother's eyes widened and she put her hand on my stomach.
"Oh my..." She said trailing off
"What is it?" I asked worried
"You are pregnant, my daughter"
Pregnant...I couldn't believe it. I hugged my mother who congratulated me and went to look for Jake and the children. I soon found them playing in the ocean close to the shore. I went up to them excited.
"I've got some news" I told them as they stood there wondering what it was
"What is it Ma'lana" He asked placing his arms around my waist
"I am pregnant Ma'Jake" I told him smiling
I was soon being spun around and hugged by Jake and the kids. I laughed softly as they all congratulated me.
"That is amazing!" Jake said, kissing me.
We then went back to our Mauri, Jake afraid I would exhaust myself, and ate before getting into a pile sleeping, the kids being careful of how they laid because of my pregnancy. This was perfect. I had my mate, my family, a little one on the way, and my home. Things couldn't be better. That was my last thought as I drifted to sleep.
