Sidra didn't care that she was going to lose out on another night of sleep. At least this time it would be for a reason.

She got up when it was almost midnight and stepped cautiously out of her bed, careful not to wake anyone. Marina stirred when she passed by but remained asleep.

Regulus was already waiting for her downstairs, dressed in black as usual and with his wand gripped tightly in his hand. He looked back as she approached.

"Are you sure about this?" He asked again.

"Please don't make me go through the pain of having to rethink this. It is the only way." Her voice broke but she pressed on. "Let's just do it."

They sneaked out of the common room and down a corridor which they both knew to be abandoned before turning to each other.

He hesitated, the hand that held his wand shaking as he pointed it at her.

"Do it, Regulus!"

"Imperio!"

A light feeling overcame her. Her shoulders slumped in relaxation for the first time in weeks, her eyebrows broke from their usual position that pulled her face into a constant frown and a sense of... ecstasy slithered through her veins. Sidra felt unnaturally calm and she breathed out a sigh of relief, turning to her beloved.

She smiled as her eyes took him in as though for the first time. He was so beautiful.

"Follow me." He instructed.

She followed Regulus like a shadow, moving the same way he did and escaping the castle successfully. The night was beautiful and fresh and the moon was full.

"Come on."

"Where are we going?"

"Hogsmeade. It's been going around that a muggle moved into the village that only magical folk reside in. We need to change that."

Sidra nodded and sped to keep up with his pace. Regulus halted and pulled her to the side, behind a thicket of trees as three strange-looking animals pranced past.

A huge red stag, followed by a fat grey rat and lastly, a big black dog with long, shaggy fur. Sidra hummed, recalling having thought of these three animals before. Only when the dog spotted them and growled did it hit her.

"Regulus, we need to run." She clutched his hand tightly. "It's Sirius and his friends. They... one of them is a Werewolf and if they're out here then so is he. The moon is full... We need to run!" The blissful feeling dissipated slightly, but running hand in hand with Regulus made some of it return.

Her worries of being chased by a Werewolf were at the back of her mind, although Regulus looked thoroughly panicked.

Regulus pulled her along, over the hills and the entire distance to the small village of Hogsmeade that filled Sidra with nostalgia. The place was quiet and barely lit by a few streetlights, quite the contrast to the bustling streets when the sun was out.

They walked slowly along the path and slipped behind a building, out of sight. Regulus was breathing heavily.

"How did you know that was Sirius?"

"He told me."

"Told you what?"

"That he and his friends are Animagi. He's the black dog, James Potter is the stag and Peter Pettigrew is the rat. They became Animagi because Remus Lupin is a Werewolf."

Regulus looked deep in thought. "What else do you know? Tell me everything Sirius ever told you."

Sidra spoke at length of how Sirius despised his family, how terribly loyal he was to his friends and how he secretly thought Peter was a bit annoying.

Regulus sighed after a while. "I meant tell me interesting things that I don't already know. Did Sirius ever say anything about me?"

"Well... he used to say you were awful and bad news and a suck-up to your parents, but... he mentioned that he hoped you would come to your senses because he hated seeing you being so manipulated by your family. He said he wished he could save you."

Regulus frowned. "He's pathetic." His glare hardened as he squinted at the street sign. "We're on the right street. But before we continue I have a few more things that I'd like to ask you..."

Sidra nodded, smiling up at him.

"Did you and Sirius ever kiss?"

"No."

"Are you a virgin?"

"Yes."

"Have you ever kissed anyone aside from me?"

"Yes. In my third year, I kissed Barty Crouch Jr on a dare."

"The Ravenclaw that tries to befriend all the Slytherins?"

"That's him. It was kind of sloppy–"

"I don't want to know how it was." He grimaced. "But I think that Barty will receive a little surprise when he wakes up tomorrow." Regulus twisted his wand between his fingers thoughtfully.

"Anyone else?" He asked.

"Just you."

"And how do you find those kisses?"

Sidra lit up. "Amazing! I dream about them sometimes they're so exhilarating."

"What's so great about them?" A small smirk played about his mouth as his finger stroked Sidra's jaw.

"The way you hold me, for starters. I love when you squeeze me against you so tightly. And when you pull my hair, Merlin, I just want you to take me then and there."

"Is that so?" He slid his hand behind Sidra's head and grabbed onto the roots of her hair, tugging them. She grinned. "What else do you like?"

"You smell amazing. And you taste amazing."

Regulus pulled her body against his and connected their lips, slipping his tongue into her mouth and kissing her slowly, passionately.

Minutes passed, neither pulling away to even break for air, so occupied they were with each other that even oxygen was a secondary need.

Eventually, Regulus slowly broke away from her. "We have a job to do." He whispered, brushing aside a few strands of her hair.

She nodded, not letting go of him. He grinned and grabbed onto her hands which dug desperately into his clothes. "Come on."

He led her to a small house with a little window right by the door. "It's this one." He pointed his wand at the door and a slim strand of light shot out, unlocking it. "He should be asleep."

Sure enough, a short plump man lay in bed, snoring loudly. He was so ordinary that his lack of magic was evident even in his mere appearance.

"Now, Sidra." She turned to face Regulus. "I need you to kill this man." Her grip on her wand tightened. "I'm right behind you, my love." He nodded to the man and stepped back.

Sidra lifted her wand, ready to fire, but a strange unwillingness overcame her. She didn't want to murder anyone. Her hand began to shake and her cheeks became wet with tears but she couldn't fight the Imperius Curse.

So despite the pleading in her head and the ache in her heart, she finally said the words. "Avada Kedavra."
