Sidra had left for 12 Grimmauld Place with Regulus the day that she was supposed to go back to Hogwarts. She had no intention of walking those halls ever again and because Regulus's house was so vast, his family would never see them.

They weren't going to be staying very long, at any rate. But it would be too suspicious if they suddenly vanished at the same time. Sidra and Regulus had to bide their time before leaving. Wait for the opportune moment that wouldn't compromise their plans.

Regulus was busy most of the time, researching things that he had only vaguely explained. On the rare occasion that he wasn't busy, he and Sidra would strip and express their love in ways so passionate and desperate that sometimes she wouldn't be able to walk afterwards.

Right now, she watched him work, thrumming through a large book on his desk and occasionally running a hand through his mussed hair. He jumped up suddenly. "I've been so stupid." He muttered and practically ran to his cupboard, pulling up the tome from Dumbledore's office that immediately shrowded the room in a dark energy.

"What are you doing with that?" She asked, fidgeting uncomfortably.

"Voldemort. I've been blind!" He flipped through a few pages, landing on Horcruxes. "He's split his soul, Sidra. That's why he took Kreacher, to test his defences."

"What does this mean?" She gestured to the book and took in the look in his eyes - more alive than she'd seen him in a while.

"It means, that I know how to destroy him." He slammed the book shut and turned to her, caressing her face. "It means we can leave safely."

A smile finally graced her face. "Tell me what I need to do."

"No, it's far too dangerous. Kreacher almost died, I won't risk you as well." He moved and set the tome down. "I'll need to find a way to destroy it and then..." He trailed off and left the room, leaving Sidra to herself.

She stared out at the dreary day and sighed. She only hoped Regulus was right and that after this they could leave because each day that passed was a day closer to the inevitability of her family - specifically Irina - finding out she wasn't at Hogwarts and was planning to run away. She'd die at the hands of her grandmother. The thought sent a shiver down her spine.

The sooner Regulus accomplished this, the better.
