The sun was setting, casting long shadows across the streets as Taehyung stood in front of his Jimin's house.

His heart raced with a mix of anticipation and anxiety, knowing that what he was about to do could change everything.

He took a deep breath and walked up the path to the front door.

His knuckles rapped against the wood, the sound echoing in the stillness.

A few moments later, the door opened, revealing a figure that sent a jolt of Surprise through younger. It was Yoongi, Jimin's boyfriend.

"Can I help you?" Yoongi's voice was curt, his expression guarded.

Taehyung cleared his throat, his nerves getting the best of him. "I'm here to see him."

Yoongi's eyebrows furrowed, his gaze narrowing as if trying to place Taehyung's face. "And who are you?"

Taehyung felt a pang of discomfort. "I'm Taehyung. We used to... know each other."

Recognition flashed in Yoongi's eyes, followed by a spark of anger. "Taehyung. The one he talks about in his sleep."

Taehyung's heart sank, realizing that his presence here might have been a mistake. "I... I just want to talk to him. I need to explain things."

Yoongi's jaw tightened, his fists clenching by his sides. "You've done enough damage, don't you think? he doesn't need any more of your explanations."

Taehyung's desperation mingled with frustration. "Please, Yoongi Hyung. It's important. I've changed, and I need him to know that."

Yoongi's gaze remained unyielding. "You think a few words will erase the pain you caused?"

Before Taehyung could respond, a voice came from behind Yoongi, soft but firm. "Yoon, it's okay."

Yoongi stepped aside, revealing his Jimin standing there, his expression a mix of surprise and wariness. "What is it, Tae?"

Taehyung's throat felt dry as he struggled to put his feelings into words.  "I know I hurt you, more than words can express. But I've changed, Jimin-ah. I'm not the same person I used to be. I want to seek forgiveness from you."

Jimin's gaze remained steady, his eyes guarded. "Forgiveness? After what you did that night?"

Taehyung nodded, his voice shaking slightly.  "Yes. I know it won't be easy, and I don't expect you to forgive me immediately. But I want you to know that I've been reflecting on my actions, trying to become a better person."

Jimin's eyes bore into his, his expression a mix of skepticism and something he couldn't quite decipher. "Why now, Taehyung? Why should I believe you?"

Taehyung hesitated, his gaze dropping to the ground for a moment before meeting his again. "Because of someone. Someone who made me realize the depth of my mistakes and showed me that I can change. I fell for him, I fell for Jungkook, and it's because of him that I'm standing here today."

Jimin's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Someone? Kook?"

Yoongi's gaze shifted between Taehyung and Jimin, a flicker of realization crossing his face. "Wait a minute. Are you talking about... Jeon Jungkook?"

Taehyung's heart raced, and he nodded. "Yes, Jungkook. he made me see the consequences of my actions and the pain I caused."

Jimin's eyes widened, disbelief written across his features. "Jungkook? My childhood best friend kookie?"

Taehyung nodded again, his voice earnest. "Yes. he's the reason I came here, seeking forgiveness. he taught me what it feels like to be on the receiving end of heartbreak and feelings played by someone"

Silence hung in the air, the weight of Taehyung's confession settling in. Yoongi's anger seemed to waver, replaced by a mix of surprise and contemplation.

Jimin's gaze never left Taehyung's face, his eyes searching his for sincerity. "Is this true, Taehyung? Have you really changed?"

Taehyung's voice was steady, his determination unwavering. "Yes, Jimin-ah. I've made mistakes, and I can't change the past. But I want to make things right, for both of us."

Jimin's expression softened, and his gaze flicked to Yoongi before returning to Taehyung. "You hurt me deeply, Taehyung-ah"

Yoongi's presence seemed to shift from a guard to an observer, his gaze assessing the situation.

His boyfriend's words hung in the air, and Taehyung's heart pounded with a mixture of hope and trepidation.

"Please Jimin " Taehyung desperately pleded , his eyes pleading for a chance.

Jimin's gaze held his for a long moment before he sighed, a hint of resignation in his voice. "Fine. Let's talk."

As they stepped aside to have their conversation, Yoongi watched them, his expression unreadable.

It was a tense and emotional exchange, with Taehyung pouring his heart out and Jimin grappling with conflicting emotions.

Hours later, when the conversation seemed to have reached its conclusion, Jimin returned to Yoongi's side. He looked weary but contemplative.

Yoongi turned to him, concern etched across his features. "What did he say?"

Jimin's gaze held a mix of emotions, and he glanced at Taehyung before meeting Yoongi's eyes. "He's changed, Yoon. He's seeking redemption, and he's genuinely sorry for what he did. I don't know if I can ever fully forgive him, but I think... I think it's time to give him a chance."

Yoongi's eyebrows lifted in surprise, and he studied Taehyung for a moment before nodding. "If you believe he deserves a chance, then I trust your judgment."

Jimin's lips curled into a small smile, gratitude in his eyes. "Thank you, Yoongi."

As the night grew darker, Jimin and Yoongi stood side by side, watching as Taehyung walked away from their house.

He had a long journey ahead, one of self-discovery and redemption, but he was willing to walk it.

Jimin turned to Yoongi, his voice soft but sincere. "Thank you for being here with me, Yoon"

Yoongi slipped an arm around him shoulders, a reassuring smile on his lips. "Always, min."

And as they stood there, united by their shared journey and the complexities of forgiveness, Taehyung's steps echoed into the night, a symbol of hope and the possibility of healing the wounds of the past.
