After talking with his knew friend Alex for a while mostly about Karl and what he was like the two parted Alex going to go see his friend who had broken his foot to take him home.
sapnap was left to contemplate going back into Karl's room or not, not sure if he was allowed.
He knocked the closed wood door his breathing fast and unsteady a tall friendly looking nurse stepped out of the room.
"Nick hi Karl fine ish now we got his heartrate down to normal he's just really tired and I guess you could say sad which is understandable" the nurse said.
"What do you mean sad" sapnap asked looking scared. "He's not talking anymore just staring into space it is completely normal to feel that way" she said.
"Can I see him" sapnap asks hoping the answer was yes. "Yes" she said dragging out each letter as though there was a but coming.
"He may not be up for talking or touching or really anything" she said "I have good news aswell though" she said her face lightening.
"Karl should be able to go home the day after tomorrow if he keeps improving he'll be on bed rest obviously but after a while he should be doing a lot better" she said smiling sweetly and sapnap could help but smile back.
"Karly you alright baby" sapnap said walking over seeing Karl's stone face staring Infront of him. "Karl?" He asked watching as a tear dropped from his eyes. "Oh no sweetheart" sapnap said sprinting over sitting in the chair beside him he grabbed his hand off the bed and held it tightly.
Karl's hands slipped through saps and fell onto the bed again.
Sapnap watched as Karl's face saddened again sniffling as he closed his eyes to let tears fall.
"Sh sh sh it's alright hun everything going to be ok please don't cry" sapnap said rubbing Karl's knuckles he gave Karl a kiss on the forehead.
"If it makes you fell better the nurse said you can go home in 2 days" sapnap says smiling down at him.
Karl looked up it looked like he was trying to smile but just couldn't his eyes were lidded and sad his mouth and lips were dry plastered with dry blood around the edges his cheeks grey and gaunt lacking the usual pink flush hey usually had his head was sweaty yet dry and matted and was thinning at an alarming rate. He brushed his hand through it seeing allot of Karl's hair stuck on his hand now.
"Oh baby" he whispered Karl saw sapnap hand as his hand jumped to his hair feeling how bad it was.
His face widened again. "Hey hey hey no no no please don't cry hun I know it seems bad but it's ok I promise" sapnap said shushing Karl again before anything could repeat itself.
"Sweetheart maybe you should try get some sleep ok you want to be able to leave soon don't you" sapnap asked and Karl nodded.
"You need rest to get better alright C'mon hun" sapnap said helping Karl get more comfortable.
"Still no cuddles" Karl said sadly looking up at him his voice groggy and tired. "I'm sorry baby I don't want to hurt you I promise when we get home I'll make this all up to you".
Karl nodded his head resting it down on the pillow closing his eyes to sleep.
Sapnap thought he should try get some sleep too knowing he hadn't slept properly in days and he didn't want to be tired when he had to take care of Karl every second when they were at home.
Short chapter for today lads. Needed to get one out today so.
