"Lord Fallacy, the visitors have arrived."
Suave spoke, bowing down while showing a gentle smile.
"I see."
He stood up from the armchair that he sat on and left the library. Upon walking through the dimly lit halls, he caught a glance of Encre's friend through the long and clear windows. There, she sat on the grass holding a red rose with a tint of blush on her cheeks. 'Must be reminiscing someone she loves.' He thought as he made his way to the entrance.

"Fallacy. It is a pleasure to be invited to stay in your delicate home."
"And it is also a pleasure to have you attend to my soon wedding."
The other chuckled softly before clearing his throat to speak once more.
"Right, Fallacy. I met a quiet lady while taking a small walk through your garden. She is quite attractive, I must say."
Now, it was Fallacy's turn to chuckle. He recalled the moment he saw Miss Lilith holding the blood red rose while looking a little flustered.
"That is Miss Lilith. A friend of Encre, which she recently brought two weeks before. I never heard you take interest in women despite being quite older than me."
"Lilith. . . I see. She has a soft and shy personality. And she seems to fancy red roses."
The other said, holding his chin in thought. The sight made Fallacy a little shocked but amused as well.
"You truly have changed, Nathaniel. Come, let us continue this conversation inside, shall we?"
"I could say the same thing to you, Fallacy."

(Before Fallacy greeted Nathaniel [Nightmare].)"My, what are you doing here all alone, dear Mortal?"
A cold voice spoke. Lilith, who was staring at the blood red roses, quickly snapped her head towards the man who stood a few distance behind her.
"A-and who may you be?"
Lilith hesitantly spoke, her voice soft but perceptible enough.
"I am an old friend of the one who owns this castle. And you?"
"O-oh. . . A friend of Encre. . ."
She slowly turned away, looking at the petals of the roses.
"Hmm. . . Do you like these roses?"
She stared at him for a moment, then nodded slowly. A small smile was visible on the other. He gently kneeled beside Lilith, carefully picking one of the roses and plucking the thorns out. Lilith watched with curiosity, seeing the man smile gently at her and hand her the picked rose.
"Here, a blooming flower belongs to a beautiful woman."
Lilith's cheek was tainted with a faint blush. She hesitantly took the rose for the other's hand, staring at it for a moment and smiling at him warmly.
"T-thank you. . ."
She whispered, though she hoped he heard it. The other chuckled, then stood up.
"I will be off now, enjoy your night, Miss."
With that, he walked away. The moment he left, Lilith felt her face heat up slightly, unconsciously smiling as she stared at the rose while twirling it in between her fingers.
As the man left, he couldn't help but chuckle to himself about the woman's reaction. 'A soft voice and shy personality. . . .' He thought. As he neared the gates of the castle, he thought about Fallacy and Encre.
"I wonder what made these two be bounded together. . ."

"Ah, so you plan on marking Encre after the wedding?"
Nathaniel asked, lifting his gaze from the chalice of bland blood that he held with his right hand.
"Yes. I am worried that - well. . . I am scared that she may pass away just like Calamimi (correct me if I'm wrong pls I forgot what her name was)."
"Hmm. . . You do know that marking her will possibly make her a vampire, correct? And I recall her saying she refuses to be a vampire."
Fallacy went silent, staring down on the carpeted floor. Nathaniel sighed, taking a sip from the chalice.
"Do what you must. I can not stop you."
"Thank you. I appreciate your approval of it."
Nathaniel sighed silently and just showed a small smile at him.
"So, the process of marking are?"
"To mix in a drop of the venom onto her blood for it to preserve vital organs. Along with magic, it will not spread nor infect but only stay within the heart."
"And the effects?"
". . . Possible heightened senses and quick exhaustion. If successful, she can be immune to any illness. If not. . . Then, she will become a vampire."
Nathaniel chuckled at this, a little amused.
"As expected from the vampire King himself."
Both laughed softly at this. As the two stopped, Fallacy brought his chalice of blood (that was on the small table in front of them) and lifted it on the air. Nathaniel mirrored his actions.
"Cheers to my soon marriage."
"Cheers to your soon marriage."
As the two chalice made contact, the two brought it to their lips and drank what was left.
Ah, cheers to his soon marriage indeed. . .
And to his soon heir-
