Vermont awoke suddenly.

Above him was a man, looking worried. He then sighs in relief.

"Are you okay? Do you need a ride?" He asks.

"I think I'm okay, but I could use a ride." Vermont says, getting up, groaning slightly due to a stiff joint.

"Where to?"

"The Province's House."

"Okay then." The other man starts driving.

"Say, what does my face look like?" Vermont asks him, noticing the odd shade of green on his arm.

"Like America's but green and blue with 14 stars and no stripes?" He says, confused.

"Okay..." He says, realizing the gravity of the situation, if not completely panicking.

Oh my god I just became a new country and Americas going to kill me oh my god-

CALM DOWN VERMONT. You'll be fine. Just get to Canada's house and you'll be fine.

"Here you go." He says, lowering the car mirror, and revealing that his flag truly has changed.

"Thanks." He says, acting calmly.

A few minutes later, and they arrive at Canada's.

"Thanks." Vermont says, getting out of the car.

"My name's Johan." The other says, reaching his arm out of the window.

"Vermont." Vermont said, shaking it. After that, Johan drives away, and Vermont goes to the side of the house. He then flies up to the third story, and knocks on Quebecs window.

"Ughhhhh Vermont....VERMONT?!" Quebec says, turning from annoyance to shock.

"I know, I know, I changed flags." Vermont says.

"You didn't just change flags, you just got turned into a full blown COUNTRY!" Quebec whisper-shouts, trying not to wake everybody in the house.

"Well can I get inside?" I ask him.

"Sure, just don't be too loud, everyone's sleeping y'know." Quebec says, opening the window, Vermont then climbs inside.

"So...you want anything to eat?" Quebec asks after a few seconds of uncomfortable silence.

"Yeah."

"Okay, I'll be back soon." Quebec says, before leaving.

POV: New Hampshire

I'm beginning to get worried about Vermont. He's been out without contact for far longer than usual. He's not answering calls, nor text messages, and while, yes, this could be reasonably explained, something feels...off this time.

I'm going to go there myself. I need to know what's going on.

Hopefully he won't notice.

(I really wish I had a good caption for this)
