Teju’s pov
Tia was so happy with Karan and his family.. i just came out of the kitchen and saw tia siting in karan's lap playing with him.. he is so good with kids.. thank god i am making the right decision for tia.. my phone pinged.. it was karan’s message
Karan- can i talk to you once ? Privately please.
Teju - okay then come on terrace
Karan - okay I'm coming.
we somehow went on the terrace
“Aapko kya baat krni thi ?” I asked
“Are you sure about ur decision?” He asked
“Pehle nhi thi but ab hun.. tia ki khushi mere liye sbse upar hai and agar use voh khushi aap de skte ho.. toh mujhe usse zyada kuch nhi chahiye..” i paused
“ek baat aur kehni thi..” he nodded
“i know aapki apni married life se kuch expectations hongi.. but mujhe cheezein adapt krne mein time lgta hai.. humara rishta adapt krne mein bhi time lgega.. mujhe time lgega adjust hone mein.. main..”
“No one’s forcing you Tejasswi.. i am not gonna rush into things.. we already know how things right now are going.. kitni jldi mein rishta hua.. hum khud hi accept nhi kr pa rhe hain is baat ko.. hum dono ek new phase mein enter krenge.. humare roles change honge.. responsibilities bdhengi.. we’ll take it slow.. don’t worry..” he assured me..
“Aap itne understanding kaise hain?
Aapko mere bina bole kse pta chl jaata hai ki main kitni tensed hun.. aap mujhe dhang se jaante tk nhi hain..” seriously.. how can one be so supportive.. that too to some stranger
“I don’t know.. but you need to relax from everything Tejasswi.. everything is falling into place..” he said and i nodded..
i closed my eyes and took a deep breath.. i opened my eyes to see him looking at me..
“Neeche chalein.. dinner ka time ho rha hai..” i asked and he nodded
“Vse.. do you mind coming to our place tomorrow.. tia ke saath..” he asked and i nodded
“Le aungi..” i told him
And we went down.. we all had dinner together.. his parents are really very good.. after the dinner Karan and tia were playing together while me and unnati were clearing everything up..
“Shaadi jld se jld krva dete hain dono ki.. main toh bhut excited hun tia ke ghr aane ki baat pe..” his mom said and unnati nudged me, smirking at me.
“Toh kb ki date rkhni hai..” mom asked
“Agle hafte mein kbhi ki bhi rkh lete hain ek baar pooch ke..” his mom said and everyone nodded
karan's pov
The next day.. i went back home to see Tejasswi and tia already there.. tia was playing with bronnie , dad and chachu.. whereas chachi was sitting alone in her own attitude.. tbh.. i was never fond of my chachi.. Tejasswi came out of the kitchen with mom.. she seemed really happy..
“Karan aaja.. dekh Tejasswi sbke liye kya mazedaar snacks bna ke laai hai.. ja fatafat fresh ho ke aa ja..” mom said
I nodded And went to my room.. I quickly hot changed into my comfy jeans and T-shirt.. and went down.. we all were sitting, talking with each other..
“What the hell..” the voice came and we turned around to see Tanzeel..
“tum yahan kya kr rhi ho.. kya besharam ldki ho yaar.. wasn’t it clear ki main tumse shaadi nhi krunga..” he yelled at Tejasswi..
“you know what.. just get lo..” before he could say a word more.. i slapped him hard..
“Meri hone wali biwi se tameez se baat kr smjha..” i glared at him..
“aur apne aap ko itni importance mt de.. ki tu uski insult krega aur voh phir bhi tujhse shaadi ke liye maan jayegi..”
“karan tune apne bhai pe haath uthaya..” chachi scolded me but i don't give a fuck
“Usne meri hone wali biwi ki insult krne se pehle ek baar ni socha.. toh maine uspe haath uthane se pehle ek baar nhi socha.. aur iske jaisa bhai hone se toh accha hi hoga ki mera koi bhai hi na ho..” i answered boldly..
“tejaswi.. tia.. beta mere saath aao tum dono..” mom took both of them inside..
“Yeh.. aur aapki hone wali biwi ? Aap kisi ke bhi bacche ko apna loge..” Tanzeel asked
“Atleast tujh jaisa besharam nhi hai voh.. mature hai voh.. baap ka paise udaane ke alawa krta kya hai tu..” chachu scolded him..
“aur maine ek decision liya hai.. hum teeno.. yhn se shift honge.. taaki tum dono maa beta Tejasswi aur Karan ke liye koi problem na khadi kr pao..” he declared but why.. we didn’t have any problem with chachu..
“But chachu..” before i could say anything.. he shook his head
“Yeh zaroori hai Karan.. yeh dono is family ko deserve hi ni krte..” he said and went to his room.. karan rolled his eyes and he too went to his room
