→ Chapter 22

Karan’s pov

I came out after getting freshened up.. i saw teju sitting on the couch.. fidgeting with her hands.. i went to her and sat beside her.. i held her hand..

“Teju Meri  jaan don’t worry.. main kuch nhi hone dunga tujhe.. aur na hi humari beti ko..” she looked at me with sad eyes.. i pecked her lips softly..

“Thank you karan .. aap ni hote.. toh mujhe ni pta m kya krti..”

“I am meant to be with you teju.. we are meant to be together..” i said tucking her hair strand behind her hair and cupping her face.. i kissed her on her forehead

“you take proper rest.. main office jaata hun.. aur tanzeel tia ko unnati ke ps chd dega..” i said and she nodded.. i pecked her lips once more and then left for office telling tanzeel to drop tia..

I was in my cabin when my phone pinged.. i opened my phone to see a msg from unknown number.. i opened the chat that made me angry like hell.. how the hell can he do this.. that bastard.. that ishaan had sent me the photos of teju.. the one he was blackmailing her with.. i was burning with rage.. how could he stoop so low.. i threw my phone on the floor and exactly at that moment.. tanzu  and sanket entered..

“Karan .. kya hua..” they both asked in a panicked state..

“I’ll kill him.. I’ll kill that bastard..” i said through gritted teeth..

“Kaun ?” Sanket asked and tanzeel told him everything..

“Aur us kamine ne voh photos mujhe bhji hain thinking ki voh bach jayega.. agr voh teju ko blackmail krega toh..” i said and they sighed

“Fuck..” sanket whispered

“ab kya krenge..” he asked and I seriously don’t have any idea what to do

“I have an idea..” tanzeel said and we looked at him..

“What ?” I asked

“I know hacking.. i can jail break..” he said and i rose my eyebrows

“aapne kal jab yeh baat btayi.. i wanted to tell you but.. maine kaafi time se ni ki.. i was not sure.. isliye poori raat.. i hacked a few devices.. and i can do it.. i can delete all the copies of the photos !” He said and i looked at sanket

“You sure you can do it..” i asked

“I can.. i need like.. 15-20 minutes to do that.. toh aap dono ki help lagegi.. to distract him.. usse bhido.. gaali do.. chaahe jo kro.. but just distract him.. baaki m kr lunga..” he said and we nodded

“Fine.. let’s do this..” i said

“Are you sure ?.. i mean.. I’ll have to see the pictures voh delete krne ke liye..” he asked and i paused

“Saara data erase kar dete hain na.. why do we have to think about him..” sanket said and i looked at Tanzeel who nodded

“I’ll do it..” he said and we left from there

We left for his place and tanzeel  went to the backdoor waiting for us to signal him.. we rung the doorbell and he opened the door with shock plastered on his face.. we signalled tanzeel  and he got inside quietly..

“Tune accha nhi kiya meri biwi ko blackmail krke..” i said and he smirked

“So you got the pictures..” he said while laughing it off..

“And i am warning you ki door reh us se..” i said and he laughed again.. we busied him and after about 40 minutes of our verbal fight with each other.. I finally saw tanzu  exiting and with a final warning to ishaan.. we left from there.. we sat in the car

“All done ?” I asked and he nodded

“Maine saare devices ka data erase kr diya plus sb devices ki info le li hai taaki hum ek baar office jaa ke dobara cross check kr skein..” he said and i nodded.. for the first time.. feeling proud of him..

We reached our office and went to my cabin where he showed us that he had already erased all the data.. he also gave me his phone to check because he knew after what all he had done.. this was necessary.. thankfully teju’s pictures didn’t exist anymore..

“Guys.. i think we should take this day off now.. i m tired now..let’s go tanzeel .. sanku tu bhi chal hi le.. have snacks and dinner with us..” i said and he shrugged.. we all left and reached home soon.. all were sitting in the hall when we entered.. teju looked at me like she was nervous.. did ishaan blackmail her by telling he sent photos to me..? God.. she looked so scared..

“Tum log itni jldi kse aa gye?” Mom asked

“Kuch nhi.. bas thode thak gye the..” tanzeel  answered while looking at us and we nodded.. teju’s phone rung suddenly and her breathing hitched.. that idiot..

“Teju.. mujhe kuch kaam hai.. come na.. guys.. tum dono bhi chalo..” i said to sanket and tanzeel

“Main kyu ni bhai ?” Yaamna asked and i nodded to take her along..

We all went my room when phone rung again but teju avoided

“Teju utha le..” i said and she looked at me shocked

“i know ishaan ka hai..pick it up..” i blinked my eyes letting her know that she has nothing to worry about.. she picked up the call
