Third person pov

A few days passed and it was now Halloween morning and Genya couldn't go outside cause of his father disagreement, he didn't want to argue with him so he just let it be, it's just that he still didn't tell Muichiro yet so it was like he was avoiding him, he felt a little sad

He arrived at the school gate and waited to meet up with Muichiro and the others, in the meanwhile he was texting Muichiro, he felt bad for refusing last minute but what else he could do? Then he felt a hand on his shoulder, it was Zenitsu, the annoyingly blonde

"Hi Genya! How are you?" Greeted the blondie as he kept his hand on the other's shoulder "hi, don't touch me, thank you" he responded cold, he didn't hate Zenitsu, he just found disgusting the way he would fall in love with every female breathing

Then he heard a very similar voice on his left, it was his very dear 'friend' Muichiro, he wanted to hug him but didn't in the end. "Hi Genya, aren't you excited for today? Today is Halloween!" The smaller said jumping around happily, as if he's been waiting for this his entire life.

"Heyyy Muichiro, I gotta tell you something" Genya spoke nervously, he felt guilty but he couldn't do anything about it "of course, what is it?" Muichiro asked as he looked up to meet Genya's eyes "yeah ummm...I can't hang out for Halloween" he said looking away from the younger

"Why tho? Did your mother said no?" Muichiro asked again, a little bit sad, Genya froze there and tried to say as calmly as possible "yeah my father refused to let me go out at night" corrected the older, as if it wasn't clear "he's strict" he added, in hope to not make Muichiro question anything

"Maybe next time okay?" Genya tried to comfort Muichiro after seeing the look he had on his face "if there is gonna be a next time" whispered the smaller as he felt someone hugging him from behind, it was our dear Tanjiro, Muichiro hugged back

Tanjiro was about to say something but got interrupted by the bell ringing, Genya sighed as he started to go inside with Tanjiro and Muichiro behind him, by pure coincidence Muichiro and Genya had the same three classes that morning, yeah it's totally not because I need to get this book moving a little

The morning went on normally, Genya and Muichiro were in silence for their first two classes, but in the third the talked all the lesson that the teacher had to separate them, they didn't know why the started to catch up like that, but they were happy they were not ignoring each other

Third class finished as the school day continued normally, Genya had the math test that he completed without any issues, he got some things wrong just to make it look realistic, he hoped be would get a B or a A. Now it was lunch time so he could finally relax without having a grown ass man telling him what to do

The food was somewhat eatable, it wasn't one of those things you would eat at a restaurant of course, it looked like it was food just two days before expiring, but no one was complaining. Genya was talking with his now friend group, he wanted to talk with Hachiro too but didn't saw him in these days

The day continued normally after lunch, in fact Genya slept in his last class before finally goin home. He went back to his house with Muichiro and Tanjiro, turns out he lives very far away from his home, more than Genya and Muichiro expected. "Bye guys, see you later for Halloween" he said before taking a different turn

"Please beg your father to let you come" pleaded Muichiro with puppy eyes, Genya knew that wasn't possible, but he didn't want to say no to Mui either "I'm very sorry Muichiro but when he says no it's a no" he said as he let out an annoyed sigh, he really wanted to go this year, especially cause he had friends now
