Genya woke up.

The conversation he had last night with Sanemi left him confused and frustrated, did Sanemi seriously give up like that? If only he tried more, by now maybe he would've been happier. He felt like he had been made fun of for years, but what could he have done?

It was 9 am, he wanted to go to Muichiro's house to spend Christmas with his boyfriend, yet he knew that there was no way his father would've allowed him to go, and he doubted Sanemi would've even tried to do something to help him.

He received a text from Muichiro, thankfully snapping him out of his own thoughts, it was like Muichiro always knew when to text him to make him feel better.

Muichiro: Gen, are you coming today?

Genya: I don't think so

Muichiro: why?
Muichiro: it's because of your own father isn't it? That sucks

"Genya come down here!" Sanemi yelled from the living room, Genya groaned in annoyance and got out of his room to the living room, there he saw both his father and Sanemi, he felt a chill go down his spine, afraid of why they both looked like they disowned him.

"Yes? Do you need something?" Genya asked, he saw Sanemi looking angry, almost disappointed "actually, we wanted to talk to you about something-" "cut to the chase Sanemi, you suck incredibly at school, and we are not having it" Kyogo interrupted.

"Especially with the fact that you got suspended because you beat up another kid" Sanemi said, Kyogo seemed more pissed off "for the love of god, I didn't do it!" Genya raised his voice a little, he couldn't believe that now Sanemi was basically going against him.

Kyogo and Sanemi both looked furious at Genya raising his voice "do not raise your voice at us!" Sanemi yelled out, while Kyogo clenched his fists "we know you did it, stop acting like you didn't do anything!" Kyogo yelled out, a little bit louder than Sanemi.

Genya clenched his fists too, anger rising up inside him "but I didn't, I actually didn't!" "Then why did Tengen told me you always skip his classes? And when you do someone always gets hurt! You think I didn't notice you skipping classes?" Sanemi yelled.

"You skip classes? I DIDN'T RAISE A FAILURE AS A SON! You already don't do well in school, and now you skip classes too!? I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE MY SON!" Kyogo screamed, switching between loud screaming and just regular screaming.

"WHY DO YOU CARE SO MUCH? YOU NEVER CARED FOR ALL THESE YEARS, AND NOW YOU SUDDENLY WOKE UP? AND YOU, SANEMI, WHY ARE YOU SUDDENLY ON HIS SIDE? HAVE YOU FORGOT EVERYTHING HE DID TO US!?" Genya yelled, what was going on? Sanemi suddenly turning his back on him.
