Genya was woke up from his nap by Hiroshi "dinner's ready" the younger whispered, as to not startle the older "I'll be down in some minutes" Genya said as Hiroshi nodded and got out of the room, he decided to check his phone for new messages.

*4 new messages from "Mui"*
*2 new messages from "Aoi"*
*3 new messages from "TanTan"*
*382 new messages from "Tanjiro is the glue for this gc fr"

Genya was surprised to see that much messages from the group chat, and also Tanjiro, he opened the app to read the messages from his friends. He started from his boyfriend, Muichiro.

Muichiro: I have an idea
Muichiro: how about you try to convince your dad and brother to let you go?
Muichiro: I know that shit happened at home, maybe you can say that it would be better if you were away from home
Muichiro: please let me know xxx

Genya smiled at the messages, maybe he could ask his brother to see if he would agree, even if he doubted so, he then checked the messages from Tanjiro.

Tanjiro: Genya since you aren't reading the gc I'm texting you in private
Tanjiro: do you wanna spend new years with the group?
Tanjiro: let us know, everyone will be there

Genya wanted to go really bad, but he didn't know if Sanemi or his dad would let him go, especially since he was suspended for something he didn't do, he was gonna ask Sanemi that after dinner. And then he read Aoi's messages.

Aoi: you'll be there for last year's eve?
Aoi: also how are you doing rn? You feeling any better?

Genya didn't even bother checking the group chat, and he had to go to dinner so he would have answered his friends later after dinner. He heard chattering from the dining room, he was hoping Kyogo was still drugged.

He arrived at the table and sat down, he was glad he didn't see his father at the table, Sanemi looked at him with a worried look, Genya was sure that Sanemi wasn't gonna let him go near any sharp objects.

The siblings continued to chatter, except for Genya, he just wanted to finish his food and go to sleep. At one point they heard footsteps from Kyogo's room, and everyone immediately went quiet to listen to the footsteps better.

Kyogo entered the room, and when he saw Genya his blood started to boil, he walked towards Genya and whispered to him in his ear, quiet enough so no one could hear "just wait till dinner is over" Kyogo then sat down "Sanemi, go grab my food".

Sanemi got up and grabbed some food for Kyogo, he didn't expect him to already wake up, he was expecting at least another 2 hours of sleep, but yet again there he was, sitting at that table, eating his food like an animal.

Time passed and everyone finished dinner, everyone went to Genya's room and locked the door, leaving Genya and Sanemi alone with Kyogo. The younger brother looked over at Sanemi out of fear, and Sanemi had no idea of what they should do.

Kyogo got up from his chair and grabbed Genya's shirt collar, the younger felt like he was about to die, and there his survival instinct came in and kicked his father's private parts, then he stepped back to get away from his father.

"HOW DARE YOU" Kyogo screamed, but didn't move since he was in pain, Genya wasn't easy with him, maybe he even kicked too hard, Sanemi immediately went in front of Genya as a shield "Genya, go to your room".

"No, I'm helping you" Genya refused to let his brother handle their father "I don't want you to get hurt" he added, but just then Kyogo seemed almost to recover from the pain and punched Genya in the stomach.
