Toni and Cheryl were having a late-night conversation. In the dim light, their faces filled with warmth and excitement.

"Another baby," the redhead said, a hint of anticipation in her voice.

"Yes," the brunette replied, her eyes sparkling with joy.

"Fine, we'll talk about it tomorrow," Toni smiled and settled into bed. Cheryl climbed in next to her, snuggling under the covers. Toni couldn't help but watch her, a soft smile playing on her lips.

"Why do I insist on having kids with you?" Cheryl playfully teased.

"Because it's the best decision you've ever made," Toni replied, her smile growing wider. "Second best, actually. The best was marrying me."

Toni looked over at Cheryl, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "You know what's coming up, don't you, Cher?"

"I know TT," Cheryl giggled, using her secret nickname for Toni.

Toni laid her head on the soft pillow and pulled the warm blankets over her tired body. "I can't wait," she said, her eyes filled with anticipation.

"Me either, but for now, I'm so tired," Cheryl yawned, her eyelids drooping.

Toni nodded in agreement, feeling the weariness wash over her. "You're right. We need our beauty sleep to be ready for our grand adventure." Cheryl rolled her eyes at that comment. They slowly drifted off to sleep.

{The next day}

Cheryl woke up to find Toni missing from the bed. Confused, she turned around to check the clock, only to discover that it was already eleven forty-nine. Panic surged through her as she realized that she had overslept. Today was her day to take the kids to school, and she had forgotten to set the alarm.

In a rush, she leaped out of bed and hurriedly grabbed a dress from her drawer. She bolted into the bathroom, all the while berating herself for the oversight. As she anxiously brushed her teeth, she mentally calculated the time it would take to get the kids ready and drive them to school.

As she grabbed her toothbrush, a flash of color on the bathroom mirror caught her eye. Curiosity piqued, she approached and discovered a note neatly placed on the reflective surface. Her heart skipped a beat as she recognized Toni's handwriting; it was unmistakable.

With a mix of excitement and anticipation, she delicately picked up the paper, unraveling its secrets. At the very top, it read, "To my amazing wife." A smile instantly formed on her face, as Toni always had a way of making her feel cherished and loved.

Rubbing her eyes, Eagerly, she unfolded the piece, and started reading.
"The paper said Good morning sleepy head. I don't know when you're gonna see this, but I just know it ain't now because you're knocked out like a light. Don't worry, I took the kids to school because I heard the alarm and realized you weren't getting up, so I did it for you. Don't worry about make-up days, it's okay. I did this because I wanted to. I love you so much, honey, xoxo. P.S. Sadly, you've got to pick the kids up. I would on my way from work, but I got to work extra late. I love you so much!!! Also, I gave you a kiss on your forehead <3'".

Grateful for her wife's thoughtfulness, she got ready for the day having some peace of mind.

For the next three hours, Cheryl tirelessly transformed her chaotic living space into a picture of order and serenity. She tidied up every room, ensuring everything was in its right place. With determination in her eyes, Cheryl changed into a more presentable outfit and took care of her personal grooming. She styled her hair, making sure it was flawless. As she hummed along with her favorite tunes, Cheryl tackled the mountain of dirty laundry. Sorting, washing, and folding each garment with precision, she transformed the disorganized pile into neat stacks of clean, fresh-smelling clothes.

Next on her list was the dishes, She decide to do them for Toni for taking the kids to school. She scrubbed away at the dirty plates and cutlery, bringing back their lost shine. Toni, her wife, would be delighted to come home to a see she don't have to do the dishes.

Suddenly, Cheryl's alarm went off, breaking her concentration. She realized it was time to pick up the twins from school. Panic washed over her as she had lost track of time while folding the clothes. Frustrated with herself for allowing distraction to creep in, She folded the last load of clothes, her hands moving swiftly, and placed them neatly in her eldest son's drawer. With a sense of accomplishment, she walked out of his room and made her way downstairs. The sound of her steps echoed through the quiet house. Determined, she retrieved her red high heels from the closet and slipped them on, appreciating the boost of confidence they always gave her.
