As soon as they walked inside, Cheryl and the twins were happily devouring cupcakes. "Hey, why didn't anybody come to get me?" Toni complained, joining them at the table.

Dale quickly ran over to grab a cupcake, and Cheryl picked up a cupcake and handed it to Dale, Toni eagerly asked, "Did you get sprinkles?" Toni sarcastically implied looking at Cheryl with an expectant gaze. The kids watched their mom closely.

"I know I didn't request for sprinkles since I wasn't here, but I thought it could be a nice touch," Toni said, shifting her gaze to the cupcakes.

"You know what, I did look for sprinkles," Cheryl responded.

"You did? you got sprinkles?" Toni asked, a hint of excitement in her voice.

"I-I searched for sprinkles, but our store didn't have any," Cheryl admitted, feeling a little disheartened.

"It would have made it look cute," Grace added, joining the conversation.

"Okay, no sprinkles, but carrot cupcakes don't usually have sprinkles... although orange sprinkles would've been cute. It's okay, you dropped the bowl," Toni said, bursting into laughter.

"I dropped the bowl!" Cheryl emphasized dramatically, and soon joined in on the laughter. Daen, feeling left out of the joke, chimed in, "Mummy, the cupcake is really good." Cheryl looked at her child with a smile and replied, "Thank you, baby. Some people said I dropped the bowl." Cheryl replied, glancing playfully at Toni, her eyes filled with love and amusement.

Toni chuckled and exclaimed, "Come on, Dale, let's go get these chairs for the drive-in," she said, her eyes gleaming with anticipation. Daen, their younger son, overheard the conversation and chimed in, "Can I come, Momma?" he asked with his innocent, hopeful voice. He looked up at them with hopeful eyes, eager to be a part of their outing.

But Dale, eager to spend some one-on-one time with Toni, grinned mischievously at his younger brother. "No, Daen, just Mama and I are going." he emphasized.

Seeing the disappointment on Daen's face, Toni tousled his hair gently and said, "You can help us next time, buddy. We'll save a special task just for you." Daen's face lit up, and he nodded eagerly, a slight smile gracing his lips.

Dale, an adventurous soul, hastily dashed towards the storage closet adjacent to the front door. Knowing that they were going for a drive-in movie night, he was determined to fetch the indispensable camping chairs. As Dale swung open the door, the musty scent of old memories wafted into his nostrils. Inside, amidst a sea of clutter, lay the coveted folding chairs. His eyes locked onto Cheryl's particular chair, adorned with vibrant red fabric and cherries scattered across it. Spotting Grace's chair next to it brought a smile to Dale's face. Its yellow fabric painted with delicate flowers and butterflies reminded him of a whimsical garden, he picked them up.

Dales blue camping chair, adorned with the iconic Batman signal, took an unexpected tumble to the floor. Hearing the commotion, Toni hurried over and swiftly retrieved the fallen chair. Spotting her own pink chair, featuring whimsical snakes, she decided to pick it up.

With the chairs in hand, Toni opened the door for Dale, who gratefully accepted her gesture. Together, they made their way outside, setting the chairs by the car, ready to be loaded for the movies. Dale suddenly remembered something - Daen's green ninja turtle camping chair.

Promptly, Dale dashed back inside, searching high and low until he finally found the coveted chair, complete with the fearless ninja turtles gracing its fabric. Brimming with triumph, Dale rejoined Toni outside, armed with the last chair.
