"Are you guys not…happy?" Mr. Jeong asked us and we shook our heads.
"I can't believe I have to live with this manhole cover for the rest of my life!" I complained and Eunbi got mad too.
"And I can't believe I have to live with this emo loser!" She complained and I got mad.
"I'm not emo!"
"Yes, you are!"
"Am not!"
"Yes, you are!"
This continued for a solid minute and our parents just shook their heads while chuckling at our little stupid antics.
Of course we were happy for them. Mr. Jeong was such a nice guy and he loved my mom like a lot. It's unfortunate he came with this monkey who couldn't stop stealing my food.
"Yah! Eat your own food, you pig!" I scolded her as I pushed her fork away from my plate.
"I'm the pig? You're the one being selfish!" She shit back, still trying to eat my food.
"I wouldn't have to be selfish if you weren't a greedy pig!" I shot back and before things could escalate, Mr. Jeong spoke up.
"Hey, that's enough, you two. You're going to be step sisters soon so you'll need to get along with each other." He reminded us. Wasn't effective.
"Over my dead body." I said.
"You're already dead inside, loser." Eunbi shot at me and I glared at her.
Our parents let out a sigh and shook their heads with a smile.

School finally ended and I quickly packed my stuff and walked over to Arang who looked at me with confusion as she packed her things.
"Are you just going to stand there and act cute?" She asked me sarcastically, but I decided to play her games.
"I can if you want me to." I swear I saw a small smile appearing on her face.
"Okay, then. Stand there and act cute." She challenged me and I couldn't back down yet.
I decided to put on my best aegyo–wait, no.
"Even though she likes someone who is cute, she'd rather date someone funny…"

I decided to put on my funniest face so I covered my face pretending to put on my cute face. When I revealed my face, I made a funny expression.
