신아랑 Shin Arang's POV

"So, you bringing a date to the wedding?" Eunbi asked me while we're walking out of class together.

"What? Why?" I asked her back. What a ridiculous question.

"Don't you wanna dance with somebody?" She asked me, nudging my shoulder.

"Not really. I mean, I could always dance with you."

"Okay, first of all, ew, and secondly, I'm going with the tall girl." She made a disgusting face, making us laugh.

"Why don't you ask your crush?" I looked at her shocked that she knew about it. Was it that obvious?

"Mom told me."

"She should learn to shut up." I mumbled softly.

"So? Are you going to ask her out?" She kept pushing me.

"Maybe."

It was fear. I had this gut feeling that she was going to reject me. But was I going to give up? Yes. Because learning from my past, love wasn't real. It's just fucking idea that peasants believed in order to feel artificial happiness. Well, guess what? I wasn't going to fuckin' fall for that.

GLOOP BLOOP WEEEEE…

It's almost 4 and I'm currently getting dressed in a black long sleeve undershirt, a baggy gray shirt, a pair of skinny ripped jeans and a pair of red converse.

Honestly, I looked alright for once

Honestly, I looked alright for once. I mean, I did put some effort in it. It wasn't my usual
shirt and hoodie combo.

I grabbed my keys and helmet before heading out to the restaurant.

WEEEEEEE…

I arrived outside and it seemed like I was earlier than expected. I walked towards the hostess who greeted me.

"Reservation for Shin Arang." The hostess started flipping through the names non-stop.

"I'm sorry, but you don't have a reservation." What? How? I literally booked it earlier.

"Ani, that's not possible. I booked it earlier. There's no way–check again." She checked it once more, still with the same results.

"I swear I booked a reservation at Tokko's." I was furious at this point. There's no way the restaurant didn't fuckin' hold the reservation.

"Oh! Ma'am, this is Motto Delights! Tokko's is just down the street. Right next to a massage parlor." Oh, fuxk. I wasn't even at the right location. I scratched my nape in shame and apologized before leaving. I'd never felt like a huge dumbass in my life.

I rode my bike just about a few meters down the road until I saw the restaurant right next to the massage parlor.

Parked my bike and entered the restaurant where the hostess brought me to my table that I made a reservation for.
