신아랑 Shin Arang's POV
We arrived at our first destination that I had planned for the day. Mainly from the countless dramas I watched last night with my mom. She was probably more excited than I was about it.
It's a mini golf course. Euphoric Escapes. It recently opened and my mom actually gave me the idea. She discovered this while driving home from her friend's house.
I looked at Sana's reaction and she was eyes wide open. Pure excitement could only be seen.
"Oh my god! I've never been to a mini golf course before!" She squealed and hopped cutely. I felt my lips moving into a smile from that. My heart was beating slightly faster than usual.
"Well, come on, then. Let's have some fun." I grabbed her hand and walked together to the booth to purchase our tickets.
The first one was called Winter Wonderlands and it had an ice castle with festive decorations on it. Christmas trees and candy canes. There was a hole in the castle's doorway which led to the back where a small hole was found.
She decided to go first and failed miserably. Like she missed the ball. Then she constantly kept hitting them but it either was too soft, it didn't enter the doorway, or it was too hard, going out of bounds.
I tried my very best to stifle my laughter but it was no use. I ended up giggling at her being bad at this.
She pouted at me with those adorable cheeks. I felt like pinching them, but that would be weird.
"Here. Let me show you."
I demonstrated how to…be bad apparently. I hit the ball thinking I had a good technique only for it to be off-target.
"So that's how it is done." I joked and we both ended in a fit of laughter.
We went from course to course challenging each other seeing who had the highest score and the loser had to treat the other to lunch.
And we all knew who won. Like, come on. Do I really need to tell y'all?
It was Sana. Yeah. I let her win. Why? Because her joy brought me joy. I was known as a super competitive person to the point where I was known as the Ace of the Living Dead. Always winning. But one day, my friend actually told me that playing with me was boring and no fun since winning was never an option for her. And that hit me hard. Ever since then, I'd started losing as frequently as winning, so that they'd win and the joy they got from winning actually made me feel happier than winning.
“Haha. I won. Now you have to treat me to lunch.” Sana boasted proudly, teasing me in the process.
“Okay, where do you wanna eat?”
“Let's eat at this new Café that recently opened. Uh, what was it called? Oh! Bliss Of Heaven!”
VROOM VROOM, BITCHES (SORRY)…
We arrived at the café and it looked really nice and unique.
