신아랑 Shin Arang's POV
"Alright, do you understand how to solve this math equation?" I looked at Sana who looked conflicted with herself. I could literally see the gears in her head, cranking as she tried to solve the question after I helped explain the formula in my own way of understanding.
I chuckled silently as I watched her solve it with full concentration while her tongue was sticking out slightly. She looked so cute and it made me wanna pinch her cheeks.
"Is this correct?" She showed me her work and I scanned it thoroughly making sure it was as according to what I taught her…and I was also admiring her beautiful handwriting.
"Yes, that's right." I handed her work back with a smile and she immediately jumped up and down, feeling victorious over it.
"Oh my god, you're a better teacher than Mr. Cho!" I simply smiled at her, showing my teeth.
"Well, I'm glad I was able to help." It was actually simple. I treated it like I was teaching a 6 year old kid, explaining it in a way that they will understand. Sometimes in life, the simpler the explanation, the easier it is to understand.
While we were doing our homework, the crashing sound of thunder unexpectedly boomed, almost sounding like a bomb.
I wasn't fazed by it, but Sana frantically freaked out about it, screaming as she, without a warning, hugged me, burying her face in my chest. I was too stunned to react accordingly, but the moment my ears captured the sound of sobbing coming from the frightened squirrel, I wrapped my arms around her tout de suite, caressing her left arm softly while shushing her in a way that usually calmed a frightened child.
"It's okay. It's okay. You're safe here." I hummed, attempting to calm her.
Slowly moving her head, she looked at me with glassy eyes as tears kept spilling out of her sockets. I abruptly felt a tight constricting feeling around my chest, seeing the vulnerable girl in my grasp.
Sana's eyes flickered between my lips and my eyes.
What happened next wasn't in my control as my body, for some apparent reason, decided to enter auto-pilot mode.
Sana shifted the gearbox in her body as it inched closer and closer to my lips. It was a magnet attracting iron. I could feel her hot breath escaping her mouth. My heart couldn't stop beating like greased lightning. It felt like a kick drum being hit with a double pedal by a Deathcore drummer. Like, fuck, our lips were so close, I could practically taste her breath.
I closed my eyes and–
"Here's some hot–woah!" My mom abruptly yelled, making us come to our senses. I practically pushed her away from me, but fortunately, she just landed flat on my bed.
"Um, I'll just leave this here." My mom said, placing the hot chocolates on the table.
"I'm sorry for interrupting your little…activity. I'll leave you to it." She teased me and I felt blood swimming to my cheeks.
"Mom! It's not like that! We were just doing homework! And–" She cut me off.
"Homework, huh. Is that what the kids are calling it these days?" She smirked at me and I groaned in frustration…and also embarrassment.
"Well, have fun with homework." She teased me and I threw a pillow in her trajectory, but she quickly shut the door; therefore, hitting the door.

미나토자키 사나 Minatozaki Sana's POV
We just sat down on my bed awkwardly, not daring to look at each other. Not even a quick glance. The tension in the air was super uncomfortable and the silence was deafening.
