Chapter 10

미나토자키 사나 Minatozaki Sana's POV

"Excuse me, I gotta use the bathroom." Arang announced before she left to attend to her business.

I quickly turned to the others once she was out of sight.

"Guys, help me out, please." I started whispering to them for no apparent reason.

"Can you, like, come up with a fake reason as to why you guys can't go home with me later? I wanna be alone with her. I have a plan and hopefully she'll, like, see me as a friend." I explained to them.

"I don't understand what you see in her. I know she's hot, but, like, is that even a good reason to fall in love with her after four days?" Momo argued and I huffed at her.

"Look, I know who she is because Eunha explained it to me. In case you're not aware, Arang and Eunha are step-sisters. Well, soon-to-be step-sisters. And they basically told each other everything. And she told me that Arang is actually a very nice person. She's just…broken." I argued, defending Arang, but after realizing that I probably sounded pissed, I let out a sigh.

"Look, I don't care if you like Arang or not, but I'm asking you as a friend to help me end up with Arang
I really like her. Please?" I begged with my cute Shiba Inu-like eyes.

They finally agreed and Arang came back afterwards.

"Anyways, I think I'm going to go now. Thanks for the cake, Sana." She thanked me as she grabbed her stuff to leave, but I quickly blurted out something to stop her.

"Wanna go to the park with me?" What the fuck was that? This wasn't part of the plan.

"Nope." She replied and left. Damn, that kinda hurt.

"Maybe tomorrow night." Arang yelled before exiting the café and I immediately glowed bright from hope. My heart felt like a Formula 1 car in a race.

I couldn't stop smiling as I started imagining our so-called date in the park tomorrow.

"Oh, boy. Sana has gone to cloud nine. That's just great." Momo sarcastically teased me but I ignored it.

THE NEXT DAY…

I saw Arang grabbing her stuff from the locker so I quickly ran up and rested my arm around her shoulders.

"Hey, Arang. What's up?" I asked, cheerful as always.

"Yah, am I your friend?" She asked me while using her eyes to point at my arm, but I tried to be playful and friendly with him.

"Yea, of course you're my friend." I sent her a smile, but she glared at me and so I removed it.

"Sorry." She started to leave and I just froze in place. What went wrong? I thought I was making progress but it's back to square one.

Out of nowhere, Eunha's voice boomed in the hallways.

"Yah, Arang! Are you coming to the park for a picnic tonight?" Arang turned and walked back to us. Damn, I wished she'd walked back to me when I called her.

"No." She replied coldly, but Eunha smirked at her. Ooh, something didn't feel right.

"Too bad. Mom told you to come with us. She said you could use some friends since you have none." Eunha savagely mocked him. Wow.

"One, I have friends. And two, I don't care. I'm not coming to your stupid little tea party." She shot back and walked off, not for long though.

"I know you don't care which is why she instructed me to tell you that if you don't come to my, and I quote, stupid little tea party, she's going to ground you for a month and take away your phone, allowances, everything." Eunha taunted her and I could see Arang gritting her teeth at her as she walked back to us.
