Chapter 13

신아랑 Shin Arang's POV

I walked to school with Eunbi since she slept over last night and once we made our way through the gates, eyes were locked on me, mouths were moving silently as they faced one another, expressions all over the place.

"Oh my god. Is that Arang?" One girl asked her friend, whispering, but I, unfortunately, overheard them.

"Fuck me! She looks so hot right now!" The other one whispered.

"Baby, I'll let her drill me till I can't walk." Another one said.

I turned to them and winked at them, making them squeal as they jumped around like little girls.

As Eunbi and I parted ways, I saw my crush with her friend, so I walked up to them since I was going to my locker anyway.

"Hey, Sana. Hi, Momo." I greeted them with a small smile, which they reciprocated. God, her smile made my heart flut–what's wrong with you, Arang? You said you weren't gonna fall in after what that bitch did. Stick to the promise.

"Sana? Are you alright?" Arang waved her hand in front of my face which snapped me from my thoughts. I was also staring at her for too long too.

"You seem to be lost in space." Arang stated and I scratched my nape, awkwardly laughing.

"Oh, uh, yeah. I was…just, uh…thinking about…something." That was so embarrassing. You call that a save, Sana? I mentally facepalmed myself.

"Alright, then." Arang opened her locker to grab some stuff and Momo went to her locker, leaving me with her.

"Oh, Sana. Wanna hangout tomorrow for lunch?" Oh my god! She wanted to hang out with me? Ahh! My heart was beating rapidly with volume.

"Uh, yeah. Sure." I couldn't stop smiling at the fact that I was gonna have a date with her even though it wasn't. A million scenarios played in my head, but her words ended them all.

"Great! I'll ask the others. See you in class." She left me standing here alone. I really thought it was going to be just us. I really wanted it to be.

I let out a heavy sigh and walked to class.

미나토자키 사나 Minatozaki Sana's POV

It was the end of school and I was walking home alone since Momo went to the café to help her mom.

Suddenly, it started to rain and I didn't have an umbrella at the moment, but luckily, there was a bus stop nearby so I decided to wait under there till it stopped.

As minutes passed, it started to get heavier and heavier and anxiety started to grow because of the anticipation of thunder that would eventually boom throughout Seoul once it has reached its peak heaviness.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw…Arang? She was…dancing in the rain while walking home. She looked so carefree. She looked so cute doing so. The sight just made my heart flutter a little.

"Arang!" I called out for her.

Why did you do that? Girl, you need to stop auto-piloting your heart.

She turned around to find the voice, so I waved at her and eventually she saw me and ran over to me, standing in front of me, still in the rain.

"Hey, Sana. Are you waiting for the bus?" She asked me, smiling cutely, which I assume was done unintentionally.
