Chapter 19

신아랑 Shin Arang’s POV

I woke up extra early today, feeling euphoric. I got dressed in my uniform right after my shower. I made sure my hair was combed and styled neatly since I was going to see her today. Damn, just thinking about her makes me smile like a goddamn idiot. I hoped my mom didn’t-

“Sweetie, why are you smiling like that? That’s not like you. Ahh, did something good happen yesterday?” My mom teased me, wiggling her eyebrows.

“What? Of course not, Mom. I’m just excited for school today. That’s all.” I didn’t realize that my voice went an octave higher. 

“Ahh, I see. You’re excited to see her today.”

Before I could even throw the comb in my hand at her, she was gone like the wind. But I definitely was excited to see her today. Especially after what happened yesterday. How her lips tasted like strawberries. 

I rushed to the kitchen, grabbed a slice and left without a single goodbye. I got on my bike and rode to school afterwards.

미나토자키 사나 Minatozaki Sana’s POV

I was walking with Momo, who was busy pestering me with questions about yesterday, clearly wanting to know about the thing.

“So did she kiss you? Was she a great kisser? How did her lips feel? How did it taste? Did you guys…you know?”

“No! Momo, get your mind out of the gutter!” I yelled at her in utter disgust, yet I felt my cheeks turning rosy.

“We just…it was just a kiss, okay. That’s all, alright. No more questions about this.” I firmly stated, continuing my way to school.

Arriving in school, I walked towards my locker to grab the necessary items needed for my class when I suddenly saw a beautiful moon walking toward my direction. My lover.

It felt like god slowed down time just for me to admire her even longer. Perhaps a little too long since she pecked my forehead with her lips. Wait, what? 

“Take a picture. Then you can stare longer.” She teased me.

I couldn’t believe that she avoided the action made by her just a few seconds ago.

“Why did you kiss me in public? People are going to see us.” I whisper-screamed.

“So? Let them see. Look, they’re already staring and whispering. At least now they know that you're mine. And they know not to mess with me.” She grinned mischievously.

“Okay, we’re going to have to start making some ground rules here. And I already have an idea for the first one: No messing or bullying other people.”

“But-”

“No buts. I don’t like people talking about how I’m dating a bully. What would my parents think of it?” I explained with my arms folded across my chest.

“Ugh, fine. I’ll…try to stop bullying others, even though I’m protecting them from the real ones.” She spoke that last bit with sarcasm. 

“Good. Now, let’s head to class before we’re late, okay.” I grabbed her hand, interlocking our fingers as I dragged her to class.

WEEEEEEE

“Ooh, if it isn't our new couple!” Momo yelled from the TWICE table in the cafeteria. 

Arang and I were walking in with our fingers interlocked. I still couldn't believe that this was happening. It felt so surreal. Arang and I were finally together.
