Last time on Dragon Ball Xenoverse Z, the Time Patrol has recruited the Saiyan named Yamota and is beginning a test, to see if he's truly up to what's about to come ahead. Being placed in the era where Goku and Piccolo fought Raditz to save the young Gohan, Yamota joins the fight to test his strength. However, the unknown power is nigh on surfacing from the brother of Goku.

Both Yamota and Goku charge towards Raditz, exchanging punches towards the Saiyan while Piccolo, less with one arm, begins to charge his attack. The fight begins to tip in Raditz's favor as he grabs Yamota by the leg and tosses him toward Goku, sending him flying a few feet away. Yamota recovers as Goku begins to recover and ascend towards the air.
Raditz: Aren't you persistent?
Goku begins to cup his hands behind his back, charging an attack.
Goku: KAMEHAME!!!!! HAAAA!!!!!
Firing the Kamehameha, the blue wave of energy begins to hurl towards Raditz after he suspects both Goku and Piccolo's attacks rising with his scouter. Goku then begins to bend the Kamehameha towards Raditz, chasing him as he then stops and places his hand forward.
Raditz: Fine! Let's have it your way!
He then blocks the attack as the entire area around him begins to cover itself in smoke.
Yamota: *coughing* ... Man, that attack is cool. 'I've gotta learn to properly utilize my Ki to learn that technique after this.'
The smoke begins to clear itself as Goku then appears behind Raditz, grabbing his tail and paralyzing him of his movement.
Goku: Gotcha!
Raditz: What the- Hey! Let go of me!
Before Yamota could speak, his scouter begins to sound in as Chronoa begins to speak.
Chronoa (Scouter): Can you hear me? Is this working?
Yamota: Supreme Kai of Time? What's going on?
Chronoa (Scouter): Listen. For what's about to happen, let it play out. It may look terrible, but that's just how history is suppose to be. We're in the clear, since that ominous energy that's been surrounding this time period hasn't surfaced yet. But don't let your guard down.
Yamota nods as he lets events play out. Raditz falsely begs for his life, which makes Goku recklessly let go and gets kicked down on the ground.
Goku: Y- You lied!
Raditz: You really think I would be fooled? I'm not one to give up that easily.
He then kicks Goku on the ground, planting his feet on his chest to hurt him more. He then turns towards Piccolo and Yamota.
Raditz: Well, go on, fire off your attack! I'm sure you two have some tricks up your sleeve.
Piccolo: Dammit, I can't. He'll just dodge it again.
