Last time on Dragon Ball Xenoverse Z, Yamota and Team RWBY were introduced by Earth's most strongest warriors, Goku and Vegeta. After a sparring match, Goku learns that Yamota could grow more powerful. Though Goku and Vegeta couldn't train Yamota, Android 21 took their place and offered her help.
With a teacher now found, the Time Patrol's next mission starts now.

Inside of a training room outside of Conton City, Yamota was having a spar with Team RWBY, Taking them all on at once. With the training going differently, it was a mix of what Yamota had to do. He had to dodge all of Ruby's Crescent Rose attacks and even keep up with her speed. While in the air, he had to use his Ki blasts to blast away any of Weiss's glyphs around him.
Only time he goes on the offense was trying to catch Blake. While he tries to land a strike at her, he only kept attacking the clones. Blake then throws her Gambol Shroud towards Yang and swings her towards him, boosting herself with her Semblance. As she lands a punch, Yamota was forced to block the punches, while undergoing some minor burns the more Yang kept punching.
Having nowhere to go as the rest of the team surrounded him, Yamota resorted to one move he picked up, simple but effective. As the team rushes in, he uses Spirit Shot to blast them away with a gust of wind. Since it was their first time fighting against someone that is not of Remnant, Team RWBY got back up slowly.
While everyone was catching their breath, clapping can be heard as Android 21 walked into the room.
Android 21: Nice going. All of you did well, and I was able to gain some research out of that.
Yamota: *rubs head*
Blake: I'll admit. It's weird having to fight someone who doesn't have Aura, yet you can brush it off even if you get hit.
Yamota: Yeah, but... it still kinda hurts. Wish I could learn how to use Aura, it would make this alot easier.
Weiss: If you want, we can unlock it for you.
Android 21: Before you do... Yamota?
Yamota: Yes?
Android 21: While you were sparing with Team RWBY, I've actually gathered some data that could help your Time Patrol missions. I came up with away so that you can match Team RWBY's criteria.
Yang: Okay, uh... what does that mean?
21 simply points her finger at Yamota, firing a beam towards him and engulfing him in red. It didn't hurt him, nor didn't it seem feel anything change. With all said and done, 21 smiles.
Android 21: That should do it.
Yamota: I don't feel anything. What gives?
He looks at Team RWBY, who now have surprised faces. It confuses Yamota only for him to look at the reflection below him.
