Last time on Dragon Ball Xenoverse Z, the battle with Raynare comes to an end from a powerful blow delivered by Issei's newly evolved Boosted Gear. Though she was mere moments away from death, Yamota gave her the option to live and to not come back. With the battle over, Yamota and Shayfeliere returned to Conton City.
Team RWBY returns from Remnant, hoping to be around for when the next Time Patrol mission. Upon them meeting the Occult Research Club for the very first time, the group from different worlds decide to engage each other in a friendly sparring match. The sparring begins now.

Archipelago
Undergoing the training regiment, the group was taken to the Archipelago Islands of Earth. They all looked around. For Team RWBY, it was still somewhat surreal that Earth was very peaceful unlike Remnant. For the ORC, they were amazed to be surrounded by close and several islands.
Yang: Now this is view.
Shay: You've four only been on Earth once. During the mission.
Yamota: Oh yeah, you haven't gotten the chance to see how Earth really is.
Ruby: Yeah, it's... very peaceful.
Weiss: It would be nice to come to these islands to relax. But we are here for training.
Yamota: So... who wants to go first?
Rias: Alright then. Issei, Yuuto, Koneko.
Issei / Yuuto / Koneko: Right.
Ruby: Uh... what about you three?
Rias: In a game of chess, it is only fit for the Pawn, Knight, and Rook to work together. Asia is our support, while Akeno is the Queen.
Blake: That makes you the King.
Rias: Correct.
Ruby: Well, okay... uh..
Yang: Let us take care of it, Ruby. Just think of it like we're back in the Ever After, against the Prince again.
Weiss: You can always count on us. Just cheer us on.
Ruby: *nods* Right.
Yamota: We'll be on that cliff so we don't interrupt.
Both teams of three walk out in the wide open space, leaving Ruby alongside Rias, Akeno, and Asia. Yamota and Shay were on a cliff, overlooking the match and not wanting to interrupt them. While walking, each team were discussing what to do.
Blake: So what's the plan?
Weiss: If I had to guess, Koneko packs a punch. I can easily tell what Issei is. Seeing as he little inexperienced. Yuuto however could be a different story.
Blake: You and my clone will take him on. Yang-
Yang: I know, Go easy on red arm. Don't know if the same could be said for the white cat.
Blake: Why a white cat?
Yang: Don't know. Kinda gives me a vibe.
Yuuto: Issei, stick with Koneko. Seeing as you're a little inexperienced with combat.
