Last time on Dragon Ball Xenoverse Z, the Occult Research Club's training comes to an end and have taken the fight against Riser Phenex. In the climatic showdown, Issei awakens into his Balance Breaker state and manages to defeat Riser, securing the win for Rias and her team.

Occult Research Clubroom - Nighttime
Not long after the Rating Game was over, given a day of recovery time, Yamota, Shay, Serena, Keyta, Team RWBY, and Trunks all returned back to Earth to celebrate Rias' victory and first win in a Rating Game. As they entered, they were greeted with a celebratory cheers to their drinks.
ORC: Cheers!
Shay: It looks like we arrived just in time.
Serena: No fair, I wanted to say cheers.
Rias: *giggles* A little too late. But hey, the drinks are on the table. Have at it.
The two girls nod as they walked over towards the table to pour in their drinks. As everyone was separating for drinks, Yamota and Ruby looks over towards Issei, who was still slightly bruised up from the fight, but was already beginning to heal thanks to Asia's magic. But what's also visible was the Boosted Gear, still in his arm and active.
Yamota: Looks like you got battered up big time.
Issei: Yeah... *looks at Boosted Gear* I'm not sure how I'll explain this to Matsuda and Motohama. Guess I really did take your advice to heart.
Yamota: I was just saying my honest opinions. But I'm glad I at least somewhat contributed to your power jump.
Issei: *chuckles* Thanks.
Ruby: Can you go into that armor again?! THAT WAS SO COOL!!!
Issei: Uh... Well... I don't think I'll be able to anytime soon.
Yamota: Why's that?
Issei: When I offered my arm to Ddraig to gain the Scale Mail armor, it was only for a limited time. After that, I wouldn't be able to obtain it again just by selling parts of my body. Basically, it's a one-way ticket.
Ruby: Awww! I wanted to see that again.
Yamota: Don't worry, Ruby. I'm sure we'll probably see it again at some point. Just as long as Issei keeps up with his training, both body and mind.
Issei: Are you kidding me? I have to train to get that form again? *sigh* I was looking forward to a long sleep.
Yamota: I didn't say now.
Issei: Still though.
Ruby: It's actually not as bad once you get used to it. I mean, I sure trained my butt off during my days at Beacon.
