Last time on Dragon Ball Xenoverse Z, Yamota faced off against the Wyvern Dragon Succubus named Shayfeliere, putting a stop to her mind control. In the battlefield, Piccolo has lost his life in protecting Gohan. Enraged, he unleashed a powerful Masenko with the help of Weiss's glyphs, taking the arm of the brute Saiyan.
However, this only led to the Saiyan's Grimm Transformation. Goku and Yamota has arrived to save his friends, and the battle of destiny between Son Goku and Vegeta commences now.

The stand off between the opposing sides were tense. Goku and Vegeta were ready to face off as did Yamota and the Grimmified Nappa. Weiss and Blake stood at their distance, as Ruby and Yang stayed with Gohan and Krillin.
Krillin: Come on, Goku... You can do it.
Gohan: Beat him, Dad.
Yang: So... who's attacking first?
To answer Yang's question, Nappa charges directly towards Yamota as Goku makes the first attack on Vegeta. Yamota locks his arms and blocks the incoming attack. Nappa delivers his barrage of attacks as Yamota keeps on dodging them the best he can. He then finds an opening and delivers an elbow attack towards the stomach.
Yamota then uppercuts Nappa's jaw and sends him towards the air. As Nappa recovers midair, Weiss unleashes her Glyphs as they all surrounded the brute. She then fires her Ice Dust rounds into a glyph in front of her, sending several Dust towards Nappa. He was forced to block the incoming Ice attacks.
It starts to prove effective as his Grimm side was becoming more painful. Weiss then creates trails of Glyphs for Yamota and Blake as they both run up the glyphs and charge towards Nappa. Yamota fires his Ki Blasts towards the Saiyan as he was forced to block the attack. Once the smoke settles, Nappa grins as he unleashes a Bomber DX towards Yamota.
This catches him off guard as he was forced to block the entire thing. As the blast begins to engulf Yamota, all that it took was his Blake appears behind Nappa and attacks her with a downward strike with Gambol Shroud.
On the ground, Blake keeps on attacking the dodging Nappa, keeping him on the ropes. Nappa was growing more furious as he then grabs Blakes arm and was about to deliver a strike, only to be stopped by Yamota dashing towards him and kicking him in the stomach. Yamota then grabs Blake's other hand and pulls her towards Nappa, delivering several strikes with herself and her Shadow.
After delivering a kick to the face, Nappa was tumbling on the ground, rolling and skidding across the ground. He then stands up as looks directly towards at Yamota while wiping the blood off his face.
Grimm Nappa: Heh... Okay... that was... the last straw.
He then appears behind Weiss and kicks her directly in the back, grabbing her head and appearing in front of Blake, then grabbing her head and punching them together.
Ruby / Yang: WEISS!!!/BLAKE!!!
Fearing for their partners lives, they leave Gohan and Krillin to save them. Speeding around Nappa, Ruby had her Crescent Rose on Rifle Mode, aiming directly at his face and firing a Fire Dust round in his face. This made Nappa let go of both Weiss and Blake, stumbling back and screaming in pain from the loss of his eyesight.
