Last time on Dragon Ball Xenoverse Z, the battle between Goku and Vegeta commenced as did the Time Patrol against Nappa. After wiping out the Grimm threat of Nappa, it all came down to the last one. Working together, they used the Spirit Bomb to destroy the Grimm surrounding Vegeta once and for all.
Though the job was saved and mission completed, the enemies of Team RWBY were just getting started. But now, a time of rest and a time for exploration starts now.

Time Nest
Yamota and Team RWBY safely return in the Time Nest, exhausted from the long fight they had. Sitting on the ground to catch their breath, Trunks, Chronoa, 21, and Shay walk over towards them.
Trunks: Great work, everyone. History is back on the right track.
Ruby: So this is what you all do? Going back in time to stop the bad guys from changing history?
Yang: This job... doesn't it hurt you mentally? Just seeing those people die and you can't do anything about it.
Chronoa: It is heartbreaking, but that's just how it is. If we were to risk ourselves to save a persons life that is suppose to die, it could change the course of history for better or worse.
Trunks: For the past few years, we've managed to prevent the change of history from villains such as Demigra, Mira, and Towa. It was their energy we were dealing with in the past. But now that history is being altered again, but with the Grimm... we had to make some harsh decisions.
Blake: That's why you came to us. Because we had more knowledge of the Grimm better then anyone else.
Trunks: Yeah... I'm sorry for pulling you out of Remnant. You all seemingly just got back, only to be called upon by the Time Patrol.
Weiss: Don't blame yourself, Trunks. Skepticism aside, it is our duty to help those in need. Whether if it's in a different history or the other. We chose this line of work as a Huntress to give people hope and a chance to fight. Because if we didn't, it could've been worse.
Yamota: ...
Weiss: *turns to Yamota* That reminds me. I don't know if I approve of your decision on letting her come here.
Shay: Uh...
Yamota: Well, it was either that or let her stay being controlled by the enemy. That reminds me... *turns to Shay* Can you recall the moment before you were controlled?
Shay: ... *shakes head* ... No. Whoever controlled me must have completely erased the moment. I can't have a clear understanding as to why I was being controlled in the first place.
Android 21: It could be that your memories are locked rather then erased. This is all but a guess, but whoever is responsible for this situation, they wanted to make it harder to figure this case out. Perhaps the more we dig into this job, maybe a slight bit of your memories can surface.
Shay: I suppose that can be possible.
Yamota: So... what happens now?
Trunks: Since we prevented the change in history, things will most likely be quiet for the time being.
