Chapter Eleven: The Revenger's Assemble

I opened my eyes, feeling the after effects of being decked straight in the face. As I came too, after the fuzziness of the room dissipated, I realized I was in what appeared to be an apartment. not even realizing a thing when I almost fell flat on my chin head first onto the floor "Scrapper?!- I DEMAND YOU RELEASE ME- AT ONCE?!" I struggled in my bounds, but noticed she wasn't in her apartment. So?...yes, I was just kneeling there chained up, seeing I had obviously no place to go, I hung my head for what seemed like an eternity. When I heard her voice from behind a door, "  Also, I've got a peace offering.." as the door slid open I had enough time to raise my head back up "SURPRISE!?-" I sarcastically said when Thor blinked and looked at me like as if he had never seen me before. When he picked up an aluminum can and threw it at me hitting me square in the face "...oooowww?!-." I exclaimed feeling what felt like a possible forming bump on my forehead "just had to be sure?' he said, when I looked up and saw Bruce Banner hesitantly trying to enter the room, looking at me with every precaution he had in mind. "Hello Bruce" I calmly greeted him while in my bounds "So?, last time I saw you, you were trying to kill everybody, where are you at these days?" he asked me as if he wanted to strike up a conversation seeing he was in no harm seeing that I was bound in a dozen chains, and unable to do even any of my clever tricks to get out....oh the shame?..."it varies from moment to moment" I said returning to staring down at the floor while Thor and Bruce chatted with Valkyrie. "when I overheard them mentioning The Devil's Anus...another wormhole perhaps that I was cleverly unaware of, that I glanced out at it several miles away when I realized THAT was my ticket out!, I had to cleverly think of something when I forgotten that I had hidden the codes to all of the palaces interlocking security doors!, when Thor and Valkyrie started talking about the perfect escape ship top of the line and all that balderdash.

"There are one or two ships, absolute top-of-the-line models" she began when I had a thought in mind "I don't mean to impose?-" I began when Valkyrie threw a glass bottle at me as it struck me square in the face again- I slightly shook my head trying to not be blankly knocked out by yet another bottle "...But the Grandmaster has a great many ships, I may have even stolen the access codes to his security system" Valkyrie looked somewhat dumbfounded at my change of attitude. "And suddenly you're overcome with an urge to do the right thing?" She said amazed that I was sounding like I wanted to help out- as she thought with even a grain of salt on my behalf, "Heavens, no. I've run out of favor with the Grandmaster and in exchange for codes and access to a ship I'm asking for safe passage...through the anus" I made my request, clear, Thor came up close to me "your telling us you can get us access into the garage without setting off any alarms?" He asked a tad puzzled, at trying to understand my sudden desire to help, scowling and looking unamused I looked up at him "yes Brother I can.." when Bruce quickly while looking at me oddly had Valkyrie and Thor join up in a small huddle, I was lucky enough to be within ear length of them. "Okay, can I just... A quick FYI, I was just talking to him just a couple minutes ago and he was totally ready to kill any of us" he softly spoke to them eyeing me still as I tilted my head and slightly gave a smug expression towards him, Valkyrie remembered from earlier that day "He did try to kill me" she mentioned to Thor "yes, me too. On many, many occasions. There was one time when we were children, he transformed himself into a snake, and he knows that I love snakes. So, I went to pick up the snake to admire it and he transformed back into himself and he was like, "Yeah, it's me!" And he stabbed me. We were eight at the time" he said glancing at me momentarily, I smiled slightly remembering that memory from that point in time years ago, "if we're boosting a ship, we're gonna need to draw some guards away" she told Thor "set the beast loose!.." I suggested, Thor snapped at me " SHUT UP!" Valkyrie beamed "you guys have a beast?!-" Thor still eyed me before explaining to Valkyrie " no, there's no beast. He's just being stupid. We're going to start a revolution!" he proclaimed "revolution?" Bruce looked a bit confused still trying to piece together the conversation together "I'll explain later.." he said at that he came over to me and hoisted me up by my bounds "YOU are coming with me!" he said as he set me down on my feet, that I sneered at him without Bruce or Valkyrie looking at me "Your lucky I'm willing to JUST this one time help you YET again!" I looked at him impatiently "now do me one favour and release me!" I demanded "fine but NO TRICKS!" he warned as he broke the chains from my bounded arms "tricks?...you surprise me Brother?.." I replied He looked at me long and hard feeling like my answer didn't seem genuine "I know you too well to even give you an ounce of my trust" he said, I walked over to Valkyrie's front door " this time around Brother...you'd be lucky if I gave you the opportunity, of keeping my trust!" I said as I made my gold and black cape appear as we both headed out the door- it felt like the anguish and sombreness disappeared- it felt like old times now, when everything was as it was before- Thor and I trying to repair our already fractured relationship as Brother's- oddly?...I didn't feel as frightened of our relationship crumbling to dust anymore....or had it already?.
